Spodiopogon sibiricus
This clump-forming, upright growing grass originates from Asia. Its red coloration upon sprouting and then in autumn is striking. During summer, its leaves are green, resembling reed or bamboo leaves, splaying out almost horizontally from the stems. The elegant, airy flower panicles change color from purplish-violet to reddish-brown as the seeds mature.
