Veronicastrum virginicum
Veronicastrum is a native perennial of the eastern part of North America, where it grows in damp meadows and in bright forests. Its flowers, arranged in upright branched spikes, are impressive. They are a great attraction for insects and butterflies. After flowering, the plants are decorated long into winter by durable seed heads. These impressive perennials last about 7 days in a vase. Lavendelturm has narrow, long, and pointed inflorescences, which appear very airy thanks to their light violet-blue color.
