Roses
Roses have an irreplaceable place in the garden, but we love them for one more reason. We focus on varieties that might have smaller, wild-looking blooms in summer, but their main season arrives in autumn. They produce beautiful red rosehips on long, sturdy stems. These rosehip roses are perfect for cutting and using in home-grown bouquets. The stems are often almost thornless, making them easy to work with when arranging or crafting autumn wreaths. The rosehips stay looking good on the branches for a long time and won't drop off easily in a vase. Additionally, some late-season varieties ripen towards the very end of the season, so you can easily use them for your Christmas decorations.
