A creeping species of thyme with glossy oval and distinctly aromatic leaves. It creates fragrant cushions, grows only to a height of 10 centimeters, and is thus perfectly suitable as a complement to other drought-loving herbs or for growing in containers. The flowers are light purple-pink.

The Dianthus from the 'Barbienne' series is a Sweet William. The stems are therefore thicker and stronger than, for example, a Carnation. The inflorescence is in the form of a cluster, where at the end of the stem there is a "mushroom" composed of smaller florets. It worked best for us to plant them in the polytunnel as early as autumn; in spring, you then harvest a flood of meter-long stems. From one plant, you harvest at least 10 full-quality stems that grow and bloom gradually. Dianthus 'Barbienne Rose' is a beautiful shade of salmon pink.

Most hybrids available here come from plants originally from North America and Mexico. It is characterized by a delicate overall appearance. An elegant plant with small fragrant leaves, it blooms continuously during the summer with plenty of tiny flowers and attracts butterflies and bees. Violet flowers with a dark purple calyx. Purple shoots turn green during the growing season. Dark green leaves with a reddish tinge.

The Sweet Summer Fragrance cultivar has sweet pink flowers, lighter to white in the center with a purple eye.

The Obedient plant is a native plant of the eastern regions of North America, where it grows on river banks and wet meadows. It forms upright, bushy clumps that spread to the surroundings via root runners. The flowers have the shape of a slender spike with four rows of tubular flowers and resemble Snapdragon flowers. We harvest as soon as the first flowers in the inflorescence open; they continue to bloom in the vase. In a bouquet, they are a suitable accompaniment for Dahlias and last 10–14 days in a vase. Interesting, and usable for drying too, are the spent spikes with seeds. Obedient plant Rosea has light pink flowers and spreads well.

Anemones come from the same family as buttercups. With their elegant flowers on long slender stems, they can enliven and brighten up late summer and autumn flowerbeds. They stand out against the darker background of shrub groups and will also appreciate their partial shade. The Czech Perennial Association chose autumn anemones as the perennial of the season for 2022. They last 7 days in a vase. Königin Charlotte is a massive taller variety bred as early as 1898. It has strong, firm stems and semi-double large violet-pink flowers. The outer sides of the silky smooth petals are colored violet.
