Clarkia

At first glance, Clarkia catches the eye with its delicate flowers that somewhat resemble an exotic Hawaiian hibiscus. They adorn sturdy stems that grow to about forty to fifty centimeters in height. This makes them great for cutting, as they look wonderful in a vase and hold their shape well. For us, Clarkia is one of our favorite flowers for spring bouquets. These annuals thrive best in cooler weather and prefer lower temperatures. Because they bloom for a relatively short time, it makes sense to plan just one main sowing for the season.
