Feverfew

Feverfew is an absolute classic when it comes to cut flowers. This aromatic plant boasts richly branched stems and pinnate leaves, from which a profusion of tiny flowers peeks out. You will find varieties with simple flowers resembling small daisies, as well as bred double-flowered variants that consist only of tubular centers without petals, looking like tiny white or yellow buttons. In a vase, it works as a perfect filler for bouquets and can easily stay looking great for seven to ten days. At Loukykvět, we have also taken a liking to professional varieties commonly grown for flower markets in the Netherlands. We have tested that they can be grown outdoors in a regular garden bed without any problems. In a suitable location, Feverfew behaves as a perennial and likes to self-seed, while elsewhere it grows as a short-lived biennial. Regardless of the sunny spot you choose for it in the garden, it will reward you with a huge amount of flowers.

Feverfew Campagne, Loukykvět

Tanacetum parthenium

Single feverfew, a classic among cut flowers. Centers are yellow, petals are white. However, it differs from other single feverfews in our offer. In growth and flowers, it is sparser; one might turn their nose up at it. But! It blooms first of all; it is an early variety and that's why we love it so much!

Feverfew Tetra White Wonder, Loukykvět

Tanacetum parthenium

Double-flowered feverfew. However, it differs from most other feverfews in our range. The seed is not pelleted, so sowing is not as simple. In terms of growing characteristics, it is more of a non-professional seed. In any case, it is the most floriferous of all and double-flowered to boot, so the result is worth it!
