Rudbeckia hirta

The most beautiful shade of Rudbeckia is finally in our offer! Sahara is a double-flowered Rudbeckia and contains a mix of shades from burgundy through brick, brown, to yellow, ochre, and the softest muted apricot. All have dark, prominent centers. Well, it's just 'cute-cute', as our Alenka says.

Rudbeckia hirta

These beauties love the heat, which is why we associate them mainly with late summer and early autumn. To help them last longer in a vase, scald them: dip freshly cut stems into 90°C water for 3 minutes, then immediately into cold water. One plant produces at least 5 stems. Goldilocks is a double-flowered variety.

Rudbeckia hirta

Irish Eyes má podlouhlé okvětní plátky, větší květy a světlý střed.

Rudbeckia fulgida

Coneflowers originate from North America; they are robust and richly flowering perennials of late summer and autumn. They are suitable for prairie plantings with tall grasses and for country gardens near cottages. The central discs, after the seeds ripen, look very effective and adorn perennial beds even through winter. Harvest for vases as soon as they bloom. They last 7 to 10 days in a vase. Dried central discs can also be used. Goldsturm is its most famous cultivar. It has bright golden-yellow flowers with dark centers.
