Honeywort

Honeywort is a low-maintenance annual that we've come to love as excellent filler greenery for bouquets. Its blue-green to silvery-blue leaves resemble eucalyptus and, combined with the small purplish tips, create a pleasant contrast to more vibrant flowers. It has had a permanent place in our annual planting plan for several years now.

The plant thrives in a sunny spot, and growing it from seeds is something even a total beginner can handle. It grows quite quickly in the garden bed and soon forms lush clusters. At the end of summer, Honeywort readily produces large seeds that love to drop back into the soil. Because of this, it easily self-seeds in the garden bed, and you might be surprised by new plants popping up in unexpected places the following year.
