Snowflake

Snowflakes are among the first harbingers of spring, but they can bring joy to your garden for much longer. These low-maintenance bulbs grow naturally in damp forests and along stream banks, so they will look their best in similar conditions in your garden as well. They are perfect for planting under deciduous trees or shrubs, where they will gradually spread into larger clumps on their own. In addition to the well-known spring classic that blooms as the snow melts, you will also find taller summer varieties in our shop. These bloom a little later and, thanks to their longer stems, also stand out beautifully in containers—you just need to make sure their substrate doesn't dry out. Overall, they are very easy to grow. Simply plant the bulbs in the autumn into soil that is well-draining but moisture-retentive.
