An elegant medium-height allium, a cultivar of the North American single-leaved onion. Despite its name, it usually has two to three flat leaves. Flowers with a diameter of about 10 centimeters are formed by dozens of lilac-pink stars.

Sicilian honey garlic creates a basal rosette of broader matte green leaves. Its real ornament are the slender stems, over a meter high, with a fountain of drooping bell-shaped flowers. A rare species of allium originally from Central Asia. It has gorgeous sky-blue flowers with a darker indigo central vein and lighter to almost white centers. As it finishes blooming, the color transitions to lavender-grey. In the garden, it will look natural planted in smaller groups.
