Origanum laevigatum Herrenhausen forms upright, well-branching small shrubs that bloom in August and flower profusely for a long time. An interesting contrast is formed by reddish-purple bracts from which pink flowers grow. Suitable for cutting and drying. Aromatic just like the more familiar common oregano.
