Speedwell

Speedwell is a truly rewarding and long-lived perennial that offers a wide range of possibilities in the garden. It is characterized by its tiny flowers arranged in striking candle-like spikes, which bring an interesting vertical structure to your plantings. Depending on the specific variety, it can also adapt to very different conditions. While taller species naturally grow in damper meadows and stream banks, they will look best in your garden in classic perennial borders. They pair excellently with roses, for example, or in naturalistic compositions. They are also great as cut flowers, and will stay fresh in a vase for up to a week. Conversely, you will appreciate the low, carpet-forming speedwells in drier and warmer spots. They are perfect for south-facing slopes, rock gardens, or pots on sunny patios. With its low maintenance and hardiness, speedwell will easily earn a place in every garden.

Speedwell Schneeriesin, Loukykvět

Veronica longifolia

The original species of this speedwell would be found in nature on wet meadows and on the banks of watercourses. It is perfectly suitable for cutting, and in beds, depending on conditions, it finds use in combination with roses or, conversely, in naturalistic plantings. It belongs among hardy and long-lived perennials. It lasts about 7 days in a vase. Its slender spikes look especially beautiful in combination with Daisy or Yarrow flowers. Excellent pasture for bees and butterflies. Schneeriesin is a white-flowering variety grown in gardens since 1956.

Speedwell First Love, Loukykvět

Veronica longifolia

Dlouhověká trvalka rozrazil First Love vnese do vašich záhonů svěží vítr díky záplavě drobných květů v netradiční žvýkačkově růžové barvě.
