Chasmanthium latifolium

Northern Sea Oats

Northern Sea Oats originates from the eastern part of North America, where it grows in light, moist forests. The flat spikelets hang from arched, drooping stems and change color from beige to pink, eventually acquiring a warm copper tone. The leaves are fresh green and turn golden yellow in autumn. Besides being used fresh, it is also well-suited for drying.
