Dlouhá stébla se výborně hodí k řezu do váz i k sušení do dekorací. Vyhýbají se mu choroby i škůdci a vydrží mrazy až -28 °C. Před zimou jej nestříhejte, protože ojíněná stébla vytváří nádherný zimní efekt.

It is most often grown as an annual, but when grown in containers, overwintering in protected bright spaces is worth trying.
