Simply transplant the supplied mature seedling to a sunny or partially shaded location, ideally maintaining a planting distance of around forty centimeters.

Neocenitelná je její schopnost udržet si tvar i barvu po celou zimu, čímž prázdným záhonům propůjčuje krásný zimní efekt.

Ostřice převislá vnese do stinných koutů zahrady nevšední eleganci a plynulý pohyb. V přírodě tuto trvalku najdete nejčastěji ve vlhkých lesích a na březích potoků. Ostřice muskingumská je spolehlivá trvalka, která do zahrady vnese svěží zelenou barvu a zajímavou strukturu. Její původní domovinou jsou vlhké lužní lesy a břehy vodních toků v Severní Americe. Dorůstá výšky šedesát až osmdesát centimetrů a od června do srpna tvoří nenápadné, ale elegantní květy v kaštanově hnědém odstínu. Ideálně vynikne ve skupinových výsadbách poblíž jezírek, v dešťových zahradách nebo jako podrost.
