Ocimum basilicum
We grow basils for bouquets, but every basil piece in our offer can also be used for cooking. Cinamonette has wine-green leaves, dark wine stems, and wine flowers. Taste-wise, it is an atypical basil with a rather Asian flavour. In bouquets, it looks novel and functions directly as an edible flower. If you plan to harvest for cut flowers, allow the stems to lignify and harvest in the morning.
