Strawflower
Strawflowers are an absolute classic from grandmother's garden and an essential staple for working with dried flowers. These annuals will delight you with a flood of color in your flower beds. At Loukykvět, we love using them in wedding bouquets, wreaths, and corsages because they hold their shape perfectly even after being cut and do not wilt. If you plan to dry them for later use, we recommend harvesting the flowers while they are not yet fully open and are not showing their yellow centers. They will open up slightly more while drying. Growing them doesn't require complex steps. The easiest path to success is to start with early sowing in seed trays, or you can try direct sowing in a sunny spot.
