Great news for all snapdragon lovers! A new "open-faced" snapdragon has finally appeared on the market, meaning an open flower instead of the classic snapdragon "pouch." And the second good news is that we immediately created it in the form of a color mix!
If you're hesitating about which color to choose, Frappe Mix is a great option, featuring all available shades: sand, white, and light pink.
The 'Chantilly' series of open-faced snapdragons seems to be unavailable long-term, so we're happy to have a replacement for you. And it seems to be an even better replacement. The stems are robust, the plants tall – true cut-flower quality in our opinion!

Alternating different textures is, in our opinion, the most beautiful way to arrange a bouquet and to design a flower bed. And we've never seen an effect quite like what this ornamental grass creates! After flowering, the top part of the stem bursts into a delicate fireworks display. We use it in wedding corsages all the time; it creates a wonderful impression in bouquets, and in larger quantities in a flower bed, it's endless charm!
They're also great for drying! Harvest when the inflorescences are mature (their light green color will be replaced by darker shades of green to brown). Simply hang them upside down in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.

While "Grandiflorum" suggests something large, the opposite is true; 'pískožil' (sandwort) is one of the tiniest flowers we grow on the farm. The plant isn't very tall, a maximum of 45 cm, but each one will produce 10 to 15 stems with tiny white stars at the ends. When open, the flowers are vibrantly yellow. The blossoms resemble strawflowers and dry just as well. For drying, we recommend collecting them at the bud stage, but if you dry already open yellow flowers, you'll get an interesting white-brown combination that's also worthwhile. It's perfectly suited for wedding floristry, especially for wreaths, because it doesn't wilt.

Pro rovnoměrné zastoupení všech barev mixu doporučujeme vždy vysít celé balení semen!
PŘEDPĚSTOVÁNÍ
Doporučujeme předpěstovat. Sejeme nejdříve 3-5 týdnů před posledními mrazy. Slaměnka potřebuje světlo ke klíčení, proto sejeme přímo na povrch a zasypeme vrstvou vermiKulitu, aby se udržela vlhkost na povrchu ale světlo prošlo skrz. Dokud nevyrostou v pořádné sazeničky, je nutné zalévat pouze spodem, kdy vložíte sadbovač do misky s vodou a necháte vodu vzlínat. Zalitím svrchu spláchnete všechna vysetá semínka. Jakmile semena vyklíčí a objeví se první lístky, můžete teplotu snížit na 18-21°C. Případné nižšší teploty (16°C) budou jen k užitku.
Přesazujte ven po posledních mrazech. Slaměnka vydrží i sucho.
