Sunflower comes from the sunny plains of North America and is an inseparable part of our gardens as a symbol of summer. The 'ProCut White Lite' variety brings a pleasant refreshment to the yellow assortment in the form of creamy light yellow flowers with an attractive greenish-yellow center. This is a reliable single-stem annual from a professional series bred specifically for floral purposes. It does not produce pollen, so you can use it in interior decorations without worrying about allergies. In the garden, it grows to a height of eighty to one hundred and twenty centimeters. The path to your own flowers begins with seeds, which are easy to work with and provide quick results. Ideally, start the sunflower seeds by pre-growing them in the warmth for one to two weeks. Covered seeds will germinate in five to ten days. Then, transplant them into sun or partial shade. Statice is a classic from grandma's garden, but also an evergreen of dried flowers. We grow statice by the hundreds! It is incredibly useful in bouquets as filler material and even undried lasts a long time in a vase. Once all the florets on the stem bloom, statice no longer wilts and is suitable for wreaths, corsages, boutonnieres. QIS Pastel is a beautiful sample of colors in tones of blue, violet, lavender and pink. One plant produces at least 15 stems.
For drying, we harvest statice at the stage when the stem under the flower is firm and the entire inflorescence has bloomed. Just hang them upside down, in a dry and ventilated place, out of sunlight.

Saponaria vaccaria, or cow soapwort 'Pink Beauty', is a reliable annual that brings a romantic and airy element to summer flower beds. It easily makes up for its unconventional name with a rich profusion of tiny, pastel-pink flowers that bring a sense of lightness to the garden. These appear on sturdy stems sixty to ninety centimeters tall during the summer months, from June to September. The delicate flowers not only look beautiful and soften the surrounding plantings, but they also act as a magnet for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, which will naturally enliven your garden. For healthy growth, cow soapwort appreciates a bright location, but it can grow in light shade without any problems.
It looks very elegant in the garden, and thanks to its structure—reminiscent of baby's breath—it combines perfectly with more robust types of flowers, for which it makes a delicate background. You can confidently cut three to four richly branched stems from each plant. They will bring great joy even if you simply place them in small vases in your living room. Cow soapwort grows and blooms very quickly from seeds, which in practice means that it also fades a bit faster. If you want to enjoy its delicate pink flowers in the bed and in the vase for as long as possible, it is worth sowing the seeds in stages. You can perform direct sowing from February to May in several consecutive phases. Even complete beginners can thus have fresh cut flowers available throughout the season.

Pro pěstování krásenky Double Click Snow Puff máte dvě možnosti, přičemž obě vedou ke krásným výsledkům, pokud dodržíte správné načasování. Přímý výsev na záhon je nejjednodušší a pro rostliny často nejpřirozenější volbou. Provádíme ho v období od května do července, jakmile pomine riziko mrazíků. Půdu připravte tak, aby byla propustná a spíše chudší – krásenky v příliš vyhnojené půdě tvoří hodně listů na úkor květů. Semena vysévejte do hloubky přibližně půl centimetru a zahrňte zeminou, tma totiž podporuje jejich klíčení. Při teplotě 18–22 °C se první klíčky objeví velmi rychle, obvykle už za 4 až 8 dní.
Pokud se rozhodnete pro předpěstování, nezačínejte příliš brzy. Krásenky rostou jako z vody a v teple domova by se vám sazenice zbytečně vytáhly. Bohatě stačí výsev 2 až 4 týdny před plánovaným vysazením ven, tedy zhruba v dubnu. Do každé buňky sadbovače vložte 1–2 semena a jemně zasypte substrátem. Jakmile rostliny dosáhnou výšky okolo 30 cm (nebo mají 3–4 páry pravých listů), nebojte se je zaštípnout. Tímto zásahem podpoříte větvení, rostlina zmohutní a v sezóně vás odmění záplavou plných, smetanově bílých květů připomínajících vatu. Vysazujeme je na slunné stanoviště do sponu 20–30 cm.
Vzhledem k výšce této odrůdy (až 120 cm) je vhodné zajistit rostlinám oporu, aby se stonky pod tíhou velkých květů nebo vlivem větru nezlomily. Může to být síťovina natažená vodorovně nad záhonem nebo provázek vedený po obvodu. Pro co nejdelší výdrž ve váze sklízejte stonky ve chvíli, kdy se poupě teprve začíná otevírat, nebo když je střed květu ještě pevně zatažený a žlutý. Nezapomínejte také pravidelně odstraňovat odkvetlé květy – čím více ji budete stříhat, tím více nových poupat nasadí až do prvních podzimních mrazíků.

Cosmos 'Apricot Lemonade' brings a novel palette of colors to summer gardens and is easy to grow from seed, even if you are a complete beginner. Cosmos Kiiro
The Kiiro cultivar represents an unusually charming variant of the very popular classic Cosmos. Its flowers continuously shine with unusual shades of pastel yellow and white color, making it an exceptional feature for any summer garden. The plant forms airy small bushes with thread-like leaves and reaches an impressive height of 60 to 120 centimeters. From June to September, it produces an incredible flood of flowers that unerringly attract plenty of pollinators to the garden. In garden design, it is excellently applied in mixed flower beds in full sun or in light partial shade with medium watering. Due to its height and the fragility of the stems, it is advisable to think about early support. Cosmos are prized in floristry because they add a unique airiness to bouquets. Moreover, they willingly self-seed in the flower bed for the next season. Starting to grow this annual from seeds is easy even for novices. Plan your sowing from April to July. Always cover the seeds with a thin layer of substrate. They germinate willingly and very quickly, usually within 4 to 8 days. Pinch the seedlings in time to create a bushier plant.

The blue cornflower is an absolute classic of our fields and meadows, which probably needs no lengthy introduction. However, the 'Tall Double Blue Boy' variety brings something extra. Everyone knows classic field cornflowers, but the 'Tall Double Red Boy' variety brings a completely different spectacle to the garden. Statice QIS Pastel
Statice is a classic from grandma's garden, but also an evergreen of dried flowers. We grow statice by the hundreds! It is incredibly useful in bouquets as filler material and even undried lasts a long time in a vase. Once all the florets on the stem bloom, statice no longer wilts and is suitable for wreaths, corsages, boutonnieres. QIS Pastel is a beautiful sample of colors in tones of blue, violet, lavender and pink. One plant produces at least 15 stems.
For drying, we harvest statice at the stage when the stem under the flower is firm and the entire inflorescence has bloomed. Just hang them upside down, in a dry and ventilated place, out of sunlight.

Larkspur QIS Rose
Larkspurs are spring beauties that are unmatched. But if you want to harvest them for cut flowers, you must be vigilant and harvest quickly before all buds open. Especially in the warm springs of recent years, they bloom quickly, so we sow several batches 14 days apart just to keep up with the harvest. Larkspur QIS Rose is an unusual shade of darker warm pink, fitting beautifully in combination with orange. From one plant you will harvest one thicker stem and 4-5 smaller side ones.
