V zahradní tvorbě se výborně uplatní ve smíšených záhonech na plném slunci nebo ve světlém polostínu se střední zálivkou. Vzhledem k její výšce a křehkosti stonků je vhodné myslet na včasnou oporu. Krásenky jsou ceněné ve floristice, protože kyticím dodají neopakovatelnou rozevlátost. Na záhonu se navíc ochotně samy vysemení pro další sezónu. Začít s pěstováním této letničky ze semínek je snadné i pro nováčky. Výsev si naplánujte od dubna do července. Semínka vždy zakryjte tenkou vrstvičkou substrátu. Klíčí ochotně a velmi rychle, obvykle během 4 až 8 dnů. Pro vytvoření košatější rostliny sazenice včas zaštipujte.
