Pure splendor! We don't have nicer photos for this year because every year we cut the ornamental carrot down to the last stem and there is simply no time left for photos. Thin, strong stems and umbel inflorescences resembling dill at their ends. There are thousands of tiny flowers on each stem creating a veil or lace effect. It is a mixture of colors, where some flowers are pure white, but the majority are chocolate to burgundy with a touch of white.

Stock Katz Cherry Blossom
Stock is a wonderful cut flower! It likes low temperatures, yet we grow three batches a year – two in spring and one in autumn. You harvest just one bloom per plant, but it is a really large, double one. Stock smells beautiful, almost intoxicating, and lasts a long time in a vase. The flowers are edible.
The Katz series is not as susceptible to temperature changes, and is generally easier to grow for beginning gardeners. However, this comes at the cost of thinner stems and a lower percentage of double flowers. Katz Cherry Blossom is a soft shade of pink in the colors of apple blossoms.
All stocks produce some plants with double flowers and some single. The ratio is different for each series. Katz has 55-60% double-flowered plants. We therefore recommend growing a bit more. At our farm, however, we use the single ones too; they look super unique.

Although correctly it is the Chinese hound's tongue, on the farm we don't call it anything other than forget-me-not! Unlike the classic water forget-me-not that we all know, this species has massive and long stems perfectly suited for binding. The color is a very fresh and distinct blue. Each plant produces 6-8 stems, and if you let some fade and ripen, seeds are easily collected.

Krásenka 'Double Click Rose BonBon' je skutečnou hvězdou mezi letničkami, a to nejen díky svým plným květům připomínajícím nadýchané bonbóny, ale i pro svou nenáročnost.
Nejjednodušší a pro rostliny nejpřirozenější metodou je přímý výsev na záhon v průběhu května a června, kdy už nehrozí mrazíky a půda je prohřátá. Pokud chcete mít květy dříve a rozhodnete se pro předpěstování, nezačínejte příliš brzy – stačí 2 až 4 týdny před výsadbou (duben). Krásenky rostou velmi rychle a v malých nádobách by trpěly. Pro výsev zvolte větší buňky sadbovače, vložte 1–2 semena a zakryjte je substrátem, tma a vlhkost jsou pro klíčení zásadní. Při optimální teplotě 18–22 °C se první klíčky objeví už za 4 až 8 dní.

Od června do září produkuje neuvěřitelnou záplavu květů, které na zahradu neomylně přilákají spoustu opylovačů. V zahradní tvorbě se výborně uplatní ve smíšených záhonech na plném slunci nebo ve světlém polostínu se střední zálivkou. Vzhledem k její výšce a křehkosti stonků je vhodné myslet na včasnou oporu. Krásenky jsou ceněné ve floristice, protože kyticím dodají neopakovatelnou rozevlátost. Na záhonu se navíc ochotně samy vysemení pro další sezónu. Začít s pěstováním této letničky ze semínek je snadné i pro nováčky. Výsev si naplánujte od dubna do července. Semínka vždy zakryjte tenkou vrstvičkou substrátu. Klíčí ochotně a velmi rychle, obvykle během 4 až 8 dnů. Pro vytvoření košatější rostliny sazenice včas zaštipujte.

Ornamental Carrot Dara
Pure splendor! We don't have nicer photos for this year because every year we cut the ornamental carrot down to the last stem and there is simply no time left for photos. Thin, strong stems and umbel inflorescences resembling dill at their ends. There are thousands of tiny flowers on each stem creating a veil or lace effect. It is a mixture of colors, where some flowers are pure white, but the majority are chocolate to burgundy with a touch of white.

Moving towards the center, the petals get smaller and end up unopened at the center, creating a frosted cupcake effect. No other Zinnia compares!

Larkspurs are spring beauties that are unmatched. But if you want to harvest them for cut flowers, you must be vigilant and harvest quickly before all buds open. Especially in the warm springs of recent years, they bloom quickly, so we sow several batches 14 days apart just to keep up with the harvest. Larkspur QIS White is a delicate white, fitting beautifully into wedding floristry. From one plant you will harvest one thicker stem and 4-5 smaller side ones.

Statice QIS Pastel
Statice is a classic from grandma's garden, but also an evergreen of dried flowers. We grow statice by the hundreds! It is incredibly useful in bouquets as filler material and even undried lasts a long time in a vase. Once all the florets on the stem bloom, statice no longer wilts and is suitable for wreaths, corsages, boutonnieres. QIS Pastel is a beautiful sample of colors in tones of blue, violet, lavender and pink. One plant produces at least 15 stems.
For drying, we harvest statice at the stage when the stem under the flower is firm and the entire inflorescence has bloomed. Just hang them upside down, in a dry and ventilated place, out of sunlight.
