Pure splendor! We don't have nicer photos for this year because every year we cut the ornamental carrot down to the last stem and there is simply no time left for photos. Thin, strong stems and umbel inflorescences resembling dill at their ends. There are thousands of tiny flowers on each stem creating a veil or lace effect. It is a mixture of colors, where some flowers are pure white, but the majority are chocolate to burgundy with a touch of white.

An evergreen favorite at the flower market! Sea Holly is a perennial; it lasts for several years in the flowerbed and spreads beautifully. The "flowers" and leaves are slightly prickly; it does look like a miniature thistle after all. The stems and tops are silvery blue. And mature, bloomed Sea Holly doesn't wilt, making it great for drying, wreaths, and similar uses.
For drying, harvest when the thistles are colored blue and the stem below the thistle is firm. Just hang them upside down in a dry, ventilated place, out of sunlight.

Although correctly it is the Chinese hound's tongue, on the farm we don't call it anything other than forget-me-not! Unlike the classic water forget-me-not that we all know, this species has massive and long stems perfectly suited for binding. The color is a very fresh and distinct blue. Each plant produces 6-8 stems, and if you let some fade and ripen, seeds are easily collected.

Divine color cocktail of sunset colors! Statice is a classic from grandma's garden, but also an evergreen of dried flowers. We grow statice by the hundreds! It is incredibly useful in bouquets as filler material and even undried lasts a long time in a vase. Once all the florets on the stem bloom, statice no longer wilts and is suitable for wreaths, corsages, boutonnieres. One plant produces at least 15 stems.

Okrasná mrkev Dara je sice příbuzná té, kterou znáte ze zeleninové zahrádky, ale pěstujeme ji pro její nádherná, krajková květenství. Ačkoliv je možné předpěstování, nejlepších výsledků často dosáhnete přímým výsevem na záhon. Pokud se rozhodnete pro přímý výsev, ideální doba je od dubna do července, kdy už je půda trochu prohřátá. Semínka vysévejte na povrch kypré půdy a pouze je lehce zatlačte, nezakrývejte je vrstvou zeminy, protože ke klíčení potřebují světlo. Půdu udržujte vlhkou, dokud se neobjeví první rostlinky, což trvá zhruba 12 až 16 dní při teplotách mezi 16 a 24 °C.
Jestliže preferujete předpěstování, začněte 4 až 6 týdnů před posledními jarními mrazíky, tedy zhruba v březnu nebo dubnu. Použijte sadbovač s hlubšími buňkami, abyste poskytli dostatek prostoru pro vývoj kořene, a při přesazování buďte velmi opatrní, abyste bal nerozbili. Rostliny vysazujte na stanoviště, až když pomine riziko mrazů. Spon zvolte vzdušnější, ideálně 15 až 30 cm mezi rostlinami, aby mezi nimi proudil vzduch.
