Anaphalis triplinervis
An interesting and undemanding perennial that playfully copes with summer drought is the pearly everlasting. It comes from the alpine regions of the Himalayas, where it naturally colonizes poor, stony plains. In gardens, it will therefore welcome as much sun as possible and well-drained sandy soil. It is an exceptionally rewarding and frost-resistant plant that requires no complicated care and resists diseases and pests. You will receive a strong seedling in a pot from us, ready for immediate planting. From afar, the plant attracts attention with its velvety, silvery-gray foliage. In late summer, tiny pure white inflorescences appear above the leaves. They look like little strawflowers and are a great attraction for bees, providing them with a rich pasture. Thanks to its clumping growth habit, the 'Silver Wave' variety is perfectly suited for rockeries or pathway edges. The sturdy stems are made for cutting into fresh bouquets, where they stay fresh for a long time. However, it shows its true beauty when dried, as it retains its shape and radiant shade. The flowers are even edible, and you can use them for unconventional food decoration.
