Rhodohypoxis

Globular flowers in a pure lemon-yellow color make the Globe flower (*Trollius europaeus*) an unmissable decoration of the spring garden. An interesting feature of these flowers is that they remain permanently half-closed – it is an ingenious natural trick that protects the pollen from spring rains. **Globe flower 'Lemon Supreme'** is a moisture-loving perennial whose home is mountain meadows and the edges of light forests. You will therefore create ideal conditions for it in partial shade to shade, in places with moister soil. Here it perfectly complements shady areas and creates a harmonious combination with hostas or ferns. You will receive an already mature potted seedling from us, which just needs to be transplanted. Sturdy stems grow from a clump of fresh green leaves in May and June. This cultivar grows to a compact height of 30 centimeters and does not require any support. If you like to tie spring bouquets, the Globe flower will also delight you in a vase. Harvest the stems when they begin to show color. They will last about a week in water, but the plant is not very suitable for drying.
