Globeflower Lemon Supreme
Kulovité květy v čisté citronově žluté barvě dělají z upolínu evropského (*Trollius europaeus*) nepřehlédnutelnou ozdobu jarní zahrady. Zajímavostí těchto květů je, že zůstávají trvale polozavřené – jde o důmyslný přírodní trik, který chrání pyl před jarními dešti.
**Upolín 'Lemon Supreme'** je vlhkomilná trvalka, jejíž domovinou jsou horské louky a okraje světlých lesů. Ideální podmínky pro ni proto vytvoříte v polostínu až stínu, na místech s vlhčí půdou. Zde skvěle doplní stinné partie a vytvoří harmonickou kombinaci s bohyškami nebo kapradinami. Od nás dostanete již vzrostlou sazenici v květináči, kterou stačí jen přesadit.
Z trsu svěže zelených listů vyrůstají v květnu a červnu pevné stonky. Tento kultivar dorůstá do kompaktní výšky 30 centimetrů a obejde se zcela bez opory. Pokud rádi vážete jarní kytice, upolín vás potěší i ve váze. Stonky sklízejte v momentě, kdy začínají ukazovat barvu. Ve vodě vám vydrží přibližně týden, pro sušení se však rostlina příliš nehodí.

The original species Salvia greggii originates from the semi-desert regions of Texas and Mexico, which endows it with a love for the sun and good drought tolerance. This cultivar will enchant you with its bi-colored flowers that combine dark purple and pure white. Interestingly, the color ratio can change depending on the air temperature and day length, so in the hot summer, the flowers can be almost entirely purple, while white increases as it cools down. It doesn't need support, easily withstands frosts down to minus twenty-eight degrees, and common diseases and pests avoid it, so even complete beginners can handle growing it. At the turn of May and June, it forms tufts of fresh green leaves that resemble a willow. It grows up to eighty centimeters tall and is soon adorned with star-shaped flowers in sky and light blue shades. These flowers not only look beautiful, but reliably attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators from the wide surroundings. Gardeners love it for its variability. Early in the spring, it captivates with dark emerging shoots, and in the autumn its leaves turn beautiful mustard yellow tones, bringing a warm autumn atmosphere to the garden. Cultivation
Pro úspěšné pěstování upolínu 'Lemon Supreme' je klíčový správný výběr stanoviště. Vzhledem k tomu, že jeho původním domovem jsou vlhké horské louky a okraje světlých lesů, bude se mu nejlépe dařit v polostínu nebo na chladném stinném místě. Od nás dostanete již dobře prokořeněnou sazenici, kterou můžete ihned vysadit přímo na trvalkový záhon. Půda by měla být těžší, humózní a především schopná dobře zadržovat vlhkost – ideální je hlinitá až jílovitá zemina. Naopak se vyhněte suchým a písčitým půdám. Při výsadbě dodržujte spon zhruba 30 centimetrů. Rostlina dorůstá do kompaktní výšky 30 centimetrů, takže nepotřebuje žádnou oporu, ale dostatečný prostor zaručí dobré proudění vzduchu, což působí jako přirozená prevence proti případným houbovým chorobám.
Základem běžné péče je pravidelná zálivka. Upolín vyloženě miluje vodu, proto dbejte na to, aby substrát v jeho okolí nikdy zcela nevyschl, a to ani během letních veder. Velmi pomůže vrstva mulčovací kůry, která zabrání nadměrnému odparu vody a udrží kořeny v chladu. Na jaře rostlinu podpořte přidáním vyzrálého kompostu nebo běžným hnojivem pro kvetoucí trvalky. Zákazníci se často ptají, zda je možné upolín pěstovat v nádobě nebo truhlíku na terase. Vzhledem k jeho nižšímu vzrůstu to určitě možné je, jen je potřeba počítat s rychlejším vysycháním substrátu. Doporučujeme proto použít samozavlažovací nádobu nebo květináč s hlubší miskou, ve které se bude trvale držet voda.
Upolín vás potěší zářivými žlutými květy v květnu a červnu. Jakmile květy začnou odkvétat a vadnout, je vhodné celé stonky odstřihnout těsně nad listovou růžicí. Tímto krokem rostlinu nevyčerpáte tvorbou semen a zachováte její svěží, zelený vzhled po zbytek sezóny. It is literally a magnetic plant for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies, who find a rich food source on it. Floristically, it is extremely valuable, because its flowers are perfectly suited for cutting as well as drying for winter decorations. If you decide not to harvest it, feel free to leave it in the flowerbed all winter. Its silhouette covered in hoarfrost creates a wonderful winter effect. Although it is a short-lived perennial, in a suitable location it reliably self-seeds, so you will enjoy its beauty for many years.

Rudbeckia Goldsturm is a reliable and long-lived perennial that will bring the warm tones of late summer and autumn into your garden. It originally comes from the open plains and prairies of North America, so it delights most in sunny locations with common garden soil, whether it is loamy, humus-rich, or clayey. You will receive from us an already grown seedling in a pot, which you just need to transplant to the chosen spot in the flower bed. It is a completely undemanding plant, does not suffer from diseases or pests, and easily survives severe frosts. The Goldsturm cultivar grows to a height of about seventy centimeters and does not need support. From August to October, it produces a flood of golden-yellow flowers with distinctly dark centers. These edible flowers attract pollinators and fit perfectly into both prairie and rustic plantings. Rudbeckia is also great for cutting, lasting around ten days in a vase. In addition, the distinctive dark centers can be easily dried. If you leave them in the flower bed over the winter, they will provide a wonderful spectacle.

You will receive from us an already grown seedling in a pot, which will quickly form a vigorous clump after being transplanted into the garden. From early summer until late autumn, it will delight you with a flood of tiny flowers in pure white and delicate pink tones. The flowers gently sway in the breeze and with their appearance resemble a flock of tiny butterflies, which also really like to land on the plant, as do bees and bumblebees. Although gaura is known as a short-lived perennial, thanks to its willing self-seeding, it will last for many years in your garden. It handles winter without problems, tolerating frosts down to minus twenty-three degrees. You will receive a grown seedling in a pot from us, which you just need to transplant straight into the flowerbed, where it will very soon form a compact, airy small shrub reaching a height of up to forty centimeters. It does not suffer from any diseases or pests, so even complete beginners can easily handle caring for it.
