Gaura is a clump-forming perennial native to Texas and Louisiana. Here, it behaves more like a short-lived perennial. Ve váze vydrží 7 dní. Schwellenburg je velmi zvláštní odrůda s bohatě větveným květenstvím. Kvítky mají fialové listeny a vínový kalich.

Catmints are ideal companions for roses, suitable for natural-style gardens and, the smaller varieties, for window boxes and pots. Some of them are an irresistible attraction for cats, due to the hallucinogen nepetalactone. This should be present in the highest degree in the species Nepeta cataria. Conversely, lemon-scented catmints reportedly do not attract cats. The botanical name Nepeta probably comes from the ancient Etruscan city of Nepet - Nepi in today's Italian province of Viterbo, where the plant was once cultivated. The faassenii group is characterized by vigorous upright growth, delicate foliage, and long stems suitable for cutting. 'Six Hills Giant' has a slightly lighter flower color than 'Walker's Low'. This robust perennial originates from the southern parts of Canada and the northern USA, where it grows in moist meadows. It forms a dense clump of sturdy stems. The flowers are arranged in large, flat inflorescences and are an irresistible attraction for bees and butterflies. In gardens, they create striking solitary plants. They are long-lived and can remain in place for several decades. Atropurpureum has dark reddish-purple stems and light purple flowers, arranged in inflorescences up to 25 cm in diameter.

Catananche is a medium-tall, short-lived perennial. It originates from the Mediterranean and is therefore suitable for areas with milder winters. Attractive blue flowers that resemble chicory. The undeveloped flower buds are also beautiful, as are the silvery faded inflorescences. Also suitable for drying. Fresh, they last 7 days in a vase.

Meadow sage occurs in our country primarily in warmer regions, especially in warmer regions, especially in South Moravia and Northern and Central Bohemia. It grows in sunny meadows, hillsides, and along roads. Its fragrant leaves form a basal rosette, from which several less leafy, branched stems emerge. The inflorescences are composed of striking, lipped flowers that are a great attraction for bees and bumblebees. 'Rose Rhapsody' has light pink flowers.

A perennial that finds its use in naturalistic steppe and gravel beds. It attracts bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. It's floristically valuable for its flowers with striking bracts, which are also perfect for drying. The roots of some species were once candied as sweets in England and France and added to pastries and jellies. In herbal medicine, it was used, among other things, as an aphrodisiac, hence its folk name 'male fidelity'.

The combination with soft, loose plantings of grasses and perennials, into which Phlomis brings a strict graphic accent, is particularly impressive.

Bugbane is a beautiful, hardy, and long-lived perennial. It is ornamental not only for its flowers but also for its leaves. In spring, it needs enough time to sprout to its full beauty. Therefore, it is ideally combined with bulbs – snowdrops and daffodils. The green-leaved cultivar 'Silver Dance' is more compact, flowering long and tirelessly.

Perennials with palmate leaves and delicate flowers. In nature, they can be found in moist meadows or bright forests. They grow in clumps. Upright stems, suitable for cutting, branch out and bear small umbels of flowers. These are further emphasized around the perimeter by serrated bracts in the color of the flower with translucent green. They last 10–14 days in a vase.
