It excels with a long flowering period in late summer and good durability in a vase. It was voted Perennial of the Season 2023 by the Czech Perennials Association. The Fat Domino cultivar was bred in Belgium and has dark red flowers.

Sazenici rdesna 'Fat Domino' doporučujeme vysazovat na slunné stanoviště nebo do polostínu, kde bude mít dostatek světla pro bohaté kvetení. Této dlouhověké trvalce se bude nejlépe dařit ve výživné, vlhčí zahradní zemině. Z hlediska půdy je pro tento druh ideální hlinitá, humózní nebo těžší jílovitá zemina. Vzhledem k tomu, že rostlina má svůj původ podél potoků, vyžaduje opravdu bohatou zálivku a rozhodně jí nesvědčí sucho. Při samotné výsadbě pamatujte na to, že rostlina vytváří statné trsy dorůstající do výšky 100 až 120 centimetrů. Z toho důvodu je ideální spon pro výsadbu 50 až 70 centimetrů, což odpovídá počtu jedné až tří rostlin na metr čtvereční. Tento rozestup zajistí rostlinám dostatečnou cirkulaci vzduchu.
Rdesno a jeho kultivary dobře porostou a jsou to odolné a dlouhověké rostliny, jen jim musíme dopřát chvíli času na adaptaci v novém záhonu. Během vegetační sezóny je nejdůležitější péčí pravidelná a vydatná zálivka, zejména během horkého léta. Na jaře je vhodné sazenici podpořit přidáním kvalitního kompostu ke kořenům, díky čemuž vás odmění záplavou bordó květů od července až do října. I přes svou úctyhodnou výšku nepotřebuje rostlina žádnou oporu a její pevné stonky spolehlivě drží tvar. Výbornou zprávou pro každého pěstitele je, že tato rostlina je zcela bez chorob a bez škůdců. Dlouhé svíčkovité květy jsou skvělé k řezu do vázy a přímo na zahradě silně přitahují užitečné opylovače. Pokud zvažujete pěstování v nádobě, je to možné, ale vyberte opravdu masivní květináč a dbejte na to, aby substrát nikdy nevyschl.
Nadzemní část odumírá hned po prvních mrazech a na jaře znovu obrazí. Ponechané suché stonky přesto na podzim a v zimě vytvářejí na záhonu krásný zimní efekt. Staré odumřelé výhony stačí seříznout těsně nad zemí až před jarním rašením. Tato trvalka je plně mrazuvzdorná až do -28 °C. V prvním roce je můžeme pro jistotu přikrýt chvojím nebo listím, ochráníme tím mladé kořeny před prudkými výkyvy teplot. Jakmile se na stanovišti dobře usadí, stane se z ní naprosto bezúdržbová dominanta vaší zahrady.

It has a semi-double pure white flower, often with inner twisted petals, and compact, strictly upright growth. The flowers are very durable.
