Persicaria 'JS Caliente' will bring colorful energy to your perennial beds thanks to its deep crimson spikes. The original botanical species of these persicarias inhabit the moist mountain meadows of the Himalayas, which gives this bred variety exceptional hardiness and vigorous growth. It forms dense and upright clumps of fresh green leaves that reliably cover the soil and give weeds no chance. Unlike some of its relatives, it does not behave invasively and stays in its place, where it only gradually spreads in width. It is an ideal choice for beginners because it does not suffer from pests or diseases and perfectly handles even harsher frosts down to -28 degrees. It fully develops its beauty in the second half of summer and autumn, when it tirelessly blooms from July to October. The tiny flowers arranged in slender spikes look like burning candles and are literally a magnet for bees and other pollinators. Rdesno 'JS Caliente' je trvalka, která pro svůj bujný růst a bohaté kvetení vyžaduje především dostatek vláhy a živin. Nejlépe se jí bude dařit na slunném stanovišti nebo v polostínu. Slunce podporuje bohatost karmínových květů, ale v takovém případě je nutné dbát na to, aby půda nikdy zcela nevyschla. Ideální je zemina hlinitá a humózní, která dokáže zadržet vodu, ale zároveň není trvale rozbahněná. Před výsadbou sazenice doporučujeme do půdy zapracovat vyzrálý kompost, který zlepší její strukturu. Rostliny sázejte v rozestupech 40 až 60 cm (přibližně 3 až 5 kusů na metr čtvereční), aby měly dostatek prostoru pro vytvoření hustých trsů, které časem zcela zakryjí půdu a potlačí plevel.
Během vegetace je klíčová pravidelná zálivka, a to zejména v horkých letních dnech. Tato rostlina původem z vlhkých horských luk špatně snáší sucho, na které reaguje svěšením listů. Co se týče hnojení, postačí na jaře zapravit do půdy plné organické hnojivo nebo kompost. Díky své odolnosti netrpí na choroby ani škůdce, takže chemická ochrana není potřeba. Rdesno roste na svém místě ukázněně a nerozšiřuje se podzemními výběžky jako některé jiné druhy, takže se nemusíte bát, že by vytlačilo okolní výsadbu.
Péče o rostlinu na konci sezóny je minimální. Rdesno je plně mrazuvzdorné až do -28 °C. Celý trs seřízněte nůžkami těsně nad zemí až brzy na jaře, v březnu nebo začátkem dubna, ještě než začnou rašit nové listy.
Pokud nemáte zahradu, můžete Rdesno 'JS Caliente' pěstovat i ve větším truhlíku nebo květináči na terase. Vzhledem k výšce kolem jednoho metru je nutné zvolit dostatečně velkou a stabilní nádobu, aby se ve větru nepřevrátila. Při pěstování v nádobě je naprosto kritické hlídání zálivky – substrát v květináči vysychá mnohem rychleji než volná půda. Doporučujeme na dno nádoby umístit drenáž a do substrátu přimíchat hydrogel pro lepší zadržování vody.

An undemanding and modest perennial that blooms with a large number of tiny flowers. It blooms for a record-breaking length of time throughout late summer and autumn. It forms smaller, compact, airy bushes that release a minty-spicy scent. The thyme-like flowers attract bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. It will look good among roses as well as in naturalistic steppe beds, perhaps with lower grasses. This calamint is generally more vigorous. It differs from other calamints with felted leaves by its record flowering length, stiff and shiny leaves, and also a larger number of flowers that do not form seeds and are therefore maximally durable. Sometimes sold under the cultivar name 'Triumphator'.

It is an excellent food source for bees. It lasts 7 days in a vase. Schneehügel blooms white.

Anemones come from the same family as buttercups. With their elegant flowers on long slender stems, they can liven up and brighten late summer and autumn beds. They stand out against the darker background of shrub groups and will also be grateful for their partial shade. The Czech Perennial Association chose autumn Anemones as the perennial of the season for 2022. They last 7 days in a vase. Whirlwind is a historical variety bred in 1887 in the USA. It has a semi-double pure white flower, often with inner twisted petals, and compact, strictly upright growth. The flowers are very durable.
