The herbaceous clematis 'New Love' grows as a sparser upright and about a meter high clump without the need for support. It has nice, fresh green leaves that form a perfect background for the blue, delicately scented flowers. These attract pollinators and the plants are suitable for cutting. It is just necessary to keep in mind that, like all clematis, they are poisonous and can irritate sensitive skin.
