A magnificent plant with feathery, terminal inflorescences in a sweet pink colour. It has a pleasant fragrance, and the pinnate dark green leaves are also aromatic. Unlike common meadowsweet, it loves moisture, making it a perfect fit for waterlogged areas and around ponds. Lasts 7 days in a vase. Venusta is a more vigorous cultivar with larger, fluffy flowers in an intense pink colour.

Dropwort is a drought-loving native perennial that naturally handles very dry sites thanks to its tuberous thickened roots. It forms rosettes of finely cut leaves. Its fragrant milky-white inflorescences are floristically valuable. The buds, which look like tiny pearls, are interesting, as is the stage after flowering in the form of small stars. They last a week in a vase. This Dropwort has richer and fuller flowers than the basic species.
