Occasionally, they even reach the very edge of the flower or playfully alternate with the white petals, creating a rich and fluffy appearance. The plant reaches a height of about forty centimeters and will brighten up any spring flower bed during April and May. Its pleasant scent reliably attracts the first spring bees and other pollinators. Woodland sage 'Mainacht' is an aromatic perennial originating from the sunny steppes and dry meadows of Central and Eastern Europe. It is a very resilient and undemanding plant that thrives best here in full sun in well-drained and poorer soil. From the supplied grown seedling, a sturdy clump reaching a height of about half a meter will quickly grow. In flower beds, it stands out best when planted in larger groups, for example as a traditional companion to roses or in mixed drought-tolerant plantings with ornamental grasses. The 'Mainacht' cultivar is popular for its striking dark violet-blue flowers, which appear as early as May and June. If you cut it back after the first bloom, it will willingly bloom again at the end of August. During flowering, the sage is literally a magnet for bees and butterflies. It is an ideal choice for beginners, needs no support, and does not suffer from diseases. It is perfectly suited for cutting into fresh bouquets, where its stems stay fresh for approximately seven days. A surprising bonus is that the fragrant flowers are edible.

A native wild perennial with a large distribution range from Europe to Siberia. Suitable for natural and wild plantings. It grows in meadows and dry grassy places. They are suitable for prairie plantings with tall grasses as well as cottage gardens. The central cones look very effective even after flowering and decorate perennial beds even through winter. Harvest for the vase as soon as they bloom. Vase life is 7 to 10 days. The dried central cones can also be used. The flowers are bright golden-yellow with dark centers. It is taller than the well-known Rudbeckia Goldsturm and also tolerates a bit more drought.

It originates from the northeastern USA and southern Canada, where it grows in damp areas, scrublands, and on coasts. It crosses very willingly with other aster species, resulting in an inexhaustible number of varieties. Unlike New England asters, they do not close their flowers at night or during unfavorable weather, making them perfect for cutting into vases. A classic perennial of Czech gardens, even though it originates from North America. In nature, it grows in thickets among taller plants and naturally loses leaves on the lower part of the stem very early. Its bred cultivars also retain this characteristic. Therefore, we combine it in beds with suitable perennials that cover the lower parts well. The whole plant is roughly hairy. It is a hardy and long-lived perennial and resists powdery mildew well. Heliopsis is a hardy, profusely flowering perennial that brightens up the garden with yellow flowers throughout the summer until the beginning of autumn. Originally from North America. Its cultivation has a long tradition in Europe, and it often appears in rural "cottage" gardens. It will look just as good in modern arrangements with tall grasses.

Phlox Minnehaha, also known as garden phlox, is originally a native perennial of North America that established a firm position in European gardens back in the 19th century. This particular variety is characterized by its high resilience and, unlike many other perennials, it holds up well even in competition with the root systems of shrubs or in slight shade. The flower color transitions from a delicate reddish-purple to light pink, with the color saturation gradually decreasing towards the center with a small red eye. It is a classic plant for cutting into bouquets, where, in addition to its colorful flowers, it also delights with a gentle fragrance. We harvest them as soon as about half of the flowers in the cluster are blooming; then they can last up to ten days in a vase. Thanks to a long blooming period from June to September, it will be an ornament of your flowerbeds throughout the entire season.

Phlox, known in Czech as plamenka, is originally a native perennial from the moister meadows and forest edges of North America. It soon reached great popularity in European gardens and has been systematically bred since the nineteenth century. It is a classic garden perennial that will bring a romantic mood and abundant floods of flowers to summer flowerbeds. The straight stems, about one meter tall, are adorned with deep green leaves and bear dense inflorescences on the tops from July to August. At the same time, the whole plant smells very pleasant, which acts as a reliable magnet for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies from the wide surroundings. Although phlox is very easy to grow and even complete beginners can handle its care, it pays to pay attention to the right choice of location. We send customers fully grown seedlings directly in pots, which you can easily transplant straight into the garden. Here, phloxes benefit most from a sunny to partially shaded location with loamy, humous, and well-drained soil. It is ideal to maintain a spacing of about fifty centimeters when planting, so that each clump has enough space to grow. They like plenty of moisture, and stable humidity is important for them. During severe drought, they can react sensitively and be more prone to powdery mildew, so they will welcome more abundant watering in the hot summer. Fortunately, you do not have to worry about pests, they avoid it. As for winter, you can cast your worries aside, because the plant can handle severe frosts down to minus thirty-four degrees. In ornamental flowerbeds, phlox stands out both on its own in larger groups and in combination with other summer perennials or lower ornamental grasses. Besides that, it is an absolutely ideal plant for cutting into vases. It will lend your home not only beautiful colors but also its unmistakable sweet fragrance. We recommend harvesting stems for bouquets when approximately half of the flowers in the main inflorescence are already fully opened. If you provide them with clean water, they will reward you with exceptional durability and easily last ten days in a vase. The Great Smoky Mountains cultivar belongs to the Phlox amplifolia species, which is valued for its natural resistance to powdery mildew and healthy growth. Unlike classic paniculate phloxes, this species has more loosely structured inflorescences in blue-purple tones. Therefore, it looks airier and fits perfectly even into wilder, naturally styled plantings, where its fragrance will attract a multitude of pollinators.

The original home of bleeding hearts is Korea and China, where they grow in light deciduous forests. They are classic garden perennials. They will look perfect in nostalgically styled flower beds; the white variant fits well even into naturalistic woodland gardens. They are popular for their heart-shaped flowers hanging on horizontal or arching stems. These weaken and die back some time after flowering; all the plant's energy then concentrates in the roots, and at that moment, we can cut the above-ground part back completely.
