Tulip Yellow Pomponette, Loukykvět

Tulipa

Bright and cheerful shades of lemon yellow and golden color make the Yellow Pomponette tulip an absolute spring classic. For us, it is one of the most popular double-flowered varieties that easily enlivens a garden waking up after winter. They grow to a height of around fifty centimeters and do not need any support because their stems are firm and resistant. Their rich blossoms slightly resemble small peonies in shape and appear during April and May. Fresh green leaves perfectly complement the overall look and let the yellow color stand out fully. They look best in flowerbeds in larger groups, where they form eye-catching areas, or next to blue hyacinths and small grape hyacinths. A great advantage of the Yellow Pomponette variety is its durability after harvesting. The stems keep the heavy, full flowers upright, which is why they make a wonderful addition to any vase or gift bouquet.

Allium

An imposing large-flowered garlic with a huge lilac-purple inflorescence will give your garden an airy feel and an interesting architectural element. The 'Globemaster' cultivar reaches a height of about eighty to one hundred centimeters and bears strikingly round flowers on straight stems in late spring, consisting of thousands of tiny florets. We send customers the largest mature bulbs directly. You just need to place them in the ground in autumn, and in the spring, they will reward you with truly rich and massive flowers. It is an excellent plant even for complete beginners, as it does not need complicated care or wind support. It handles harsher frosts well and reliably shows itself in full force every season in a suitable sunny location. In the garden, this garlic benefits most from planting in smaller or larger groups scattered among other sun-loving perennials. Given that its long leaves begin to die back and yellow during flowering, it is clever to plant lower shrubs or perennials with rich foliage in front of it. Fragrant purple flowers attract many pollinators to the garden and enliven the space just as early spring bulbs are fading and summer perennials are just waking up. 'Globemaster' is also a great choice for creating bouquets because the stems do not contain the typical strong aroma and they remain fresh in a vase for quite a long time. The whole flowers and young parts of the plant are surprisingly edible and can be used for original food decoration. After flowering, you get firm seed heads that you can easily dry for autumn and winter decorations.

Cultivation

Po pečlivém zasazení záhon důkladně zalejte, aby cibule získaly potřebnou vláhu a mohly bezpečně zakořenit ještě před příchodem prvních silnějších mrazů. Během intenzivního jarního růstu a v období plného květu, tedy především v dubnu a květnu, udržujte půdu na záhonu mírně vlhkou. Narcisy vyžadují pouze střední zálivku, proto si dejte pozor na zbytečné přemokření, které rostlinám spíše škodí. Jelikož mají tyto rostliny velmi pevné stonky dorůstající výšky 30 až 50 centimetrů, nevyžadují během svého růstu vůbec žádnou oporu a není je potřeba ani zaštipovat.

Fragrant

Narcissus

Most daffodils have a bright orange or deep yellow center, but lately, more muted pastel colors have become increasingly popular. The Palmares daffodil is exactly the hit you've been looking for if you want something a little different. We explore every powdery, salmon, and apricot-colored daffodil we can get our hands on, and this cultivar absolutely charmed us. Although it is a simple daffodil, its center is made up of beautifully ruffled petals in a soft peach shade. Tulip Rosy Diamond, Loukykvět

Tulipa

The Rosy Diamond tulip is a wonderful addition to the spring garden and a direct sibling to our popular Blue Diamond variety. That one has had a place in our tulip beds from the very beginning and has always been an absolute reliable performer, both in the vase and out in the flowerbed. When we discovered it had a pink sibling, our joy was immense. Rosy Diamond reaches a height of thirty to forty-five centimeters and immediately catches the eye with its darker stems. They form a perfect contrast to the pastel pink flowers with their almost translucent petals. As the flower gradually ages and matures, its edges lighten slightly, which gives the whole tulip an extraordinary delicacy and dynamism. In the garden, it complements other spring bulbs perfectly, and for lovers of cut flowers, it is a clear choice for us. It looks incredibly fragile in a vase, yet it also lasts for a very long time.
