Plan to plant 'Easter Born' daffodil bulbs in the autumn months—ideally from September to November. If you cannot plant them immediately, store them in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place so they do not start sprouting prematurely or go moldy. For planting, choose a sunny location or light shade under trees. The soil should be primarily well-drained, as bulbs easily succumb to rot in waterlogged soil. We plant them at a depth of 10 to 15 centimeters, always with the sharp tip facing up. Keep a spacing of about 5 to 10 centimeters between individual bulbs, which corresponds to fifty pieces per square meter, so that every daffodil has enough living space.
In spring, when the daffodils start to grow, they will appreciate moderate watering. However, this cultivar is rather undemanding regarding moisture and can even tolerate drier conditions, so do not overdo it with watering. Thanks to their strong and sturdy stems, which reach a total height of around 40 centimeters, the plants do not need any external support, even in very windy weather. Flowers in gentle lemon-white tones will reliably appear in the beds during April and May. During active flowering, you can slightly support the plants with liquid fertilizer for spring bulbs, but it is not strictly necessary for their successful growth. If you want to cut these fragrant daffodils for a vase, cut them when the buds are just beginning to open; they will last much longer at home that way. We do not do any classic pinching with daffodils; leave them to grow naturally and freely.
Once the daffodils finish flowering, remove only the dry remains of the flowers, but let the green leaves turn yellow and dry out naturally on the bed. Thanks to the leaves, the bulbs will draw back the necessary nutrients for the next season. The 'Easter Born' daffodil is a fully frost-resistant perennial that easily withstands severe frosts down to -34 °C. The bulbs therefore remain in the ground through the winter and do not need any special winter protection. Occasionally, problems with fungal diseases such as grey or Fusarium rot may occur, so prevention in the form of well-drained soil without standing water is key.

Times may vary depending on the season, climate, location, sowing and transplanting dates and possibly also the conditions in the greenhouse/greenhouse. We always recommend testing how the plant performs in your conditions. Please do not take this as a guarantee.
