NOTICE To ensure an even representation of all colors in the mix, we recommend always sowing the entire packet of seeds!
We recommend direct sowing. Sow outdoors as soon as the soil thaws and can be worked. At our farm, this is as early as March. In rows 0.5 cm deep. Keep moist, and once the plants have their first true leaves, thin to the desired spacing. Cornflower likes low temperatures; in spring, you can manage 2–3 sowings 2–3 weeks apart, after that it gets too hot for it. Another option is to sow Cornflower in autumn; it overwinters and blooms all the earlier in spring. We recommend support.
The information given is based on our experience, please use it as a guide only. Times may vary depending on the season, climate, location, sowing and transplanting dates and possibly also the conditions in the greenhouse/greenhouse. We always recommend testing how the plant performs in your conditions. Please do not take this as a guarantee.
