The blue cornflower is an absolute classic of our fields and meadows, which probably needs no lengthy introduction. However, the 'Tall Double Blue Boy' variety brings something extra. Compared to its wild relatives that we see along roads, it boasts rich flowers in an unmistakable, deep blue shade, sometimes with a purple tone. You can hardly imagine anything more meadow-like. Thanks to its strong stems growing up to eighty centimeters tall, this annual is perfectly suited for cutting, adding true rustic charm to bouquets. But its use doesn't end in the vase. The flowers keep their fantastic color even after drying! At weddings, we loved using them in flower crowns and corsages, where they have excellent stamina! The petals are edible. They serve perfectly as an original garnish for summer salads, desserts, or festive cakes. Moreover, in the garden, it functions as a reliable magnet for bees and bumblebees, who simply go crazy for its nectar.

The best-selling cut Zinnia ever! But the main thing is the color! Antique wine fading into antique pink. The Queen Lime series is our favorite Zinnia; it's love at first sight! The flowers are large, up to 10 cm, surrounded by many petals, giving a double-flowered appearance. Moving towards the center, the petals get smaller and end up unopened at the center, creating a frosted cupcake effect. No other Zinnia compares!

Cosmos are an absolute classic and a matter of the heart for us! In the past, we cut them by hundreds of stems on the farm and our customers, especially brides, literally loved them for their lightness and elegance. While common cosmos mainly offer a white and deep pink palette, 'Apricotta' brings a completely new and fresh color tone to the flowerbeds. It is a unique combination of light pink and the lightest salmon, which looks incredibly tender and original. The flowers have a silky appearance and gently sway in the wind, which adds pleasant dynamics to the garden.

Everyone knows classic field cornflowers, but the 'Tall Double Red Boy' variety brings a completely different spectacle to the garden. It is a very unusual shade of deep raspberry, which we fell in love with immediately after one plant accidentally bloomed among our blue cornflowers last year. The richly double flowers measure approximately four centimeters in diameter and grow on stems up to eighty centimeters tall. The silvery gray-green foliage gives the whole composition a delicate look that beautifully softens the surrounding planting. The raspberry cornflower stands out best in natural-looking flower beds, where it pairs perfectly with ornamental grasses, daisies, or white-flowering annuals. Throughout the summer, it serves as a plentiful feast for bees and bumblebees. Lovers of fresh arrangements love using it in colorful summer bouquets, where its unconventional color immediately catches everyone's eye. It works just as well for drying into dry decorations that will remind you of warm days even during the cold months. Moreover, it is a plant with edible flowers, which you can easily use to decorate festive cakes or summer drinks.

Cosmos belongs among the most used items on our farm. And Rubenza is one of the most beautiful. Warm burgundy color, the petals have a brush-stroke texture on the underside. Nigella 'Miss Jekyll Sky Blue' is an absolute classic among annuals and will bring enchanting shades of deep sky and royal blue to your garden. Originally from the Mediterranean, it immediately catches the eye with its delicate foliage, which creates a fluffy green cloud. From May to August, striking blue flowers peek out from it. It grows to a height of between fifty and one hundred centimeters, making it easy to create an eye-catching structure in the flower bed. The flowers act as a reliable attractant for bees and bumblebees. Nigella is a spring beauty, but its seed pods are also great for harvesting, meaning it will last in the garden well into summer. These original, inflated seed pods are a sought-after material for florists. Fresh flowering stems beautifully liven up summer bouquets in a vase, while the dried pods perfectly complement autumn decorations, as they retain their shape for a long time.

The Cornflower is a fundamental staple for all lovers of naturalistic gardens. These beautiful heads appear on the plants from June to August, bringing a wonderful sense of lightness to every flower bed. In the garden, this annual, which reaches up to eighty centimeters in height, will become a favorite destination for bees and butterflies that will happily search for food on it. Zinnia 'Cresto Peachy Pink' brings a refreshing palette of colors full of cool tones to summer flower beds. Growing this charming annual from seeds is ideal even for complete beginners. The seeds are sown directly into the flower bed during May and June, as soon as the danger of frost has passed. The 'Cresto' series is characterized by fully double, scabiosa-flowered types that catch the eye with their unconventional shape and fluffy centers. Compared to the 'Peaches & Cream' variety, this variant offers cooler shades of pink, from pastel to deep bubblegum, with delicate touches of tangerine and apricot. The plants grow to a height of sixty to ninety centimeters, and occasional pinching will benefit them with richer branching. In the garden, they form beautiful combinations with delicate ornamental grasses or other annuals in similar tones. Zinnia also acts as a reliable magnet for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. Long, sturdy stems, which sometimes benefit from light support, make this flower the perfect material for cutting. The colorful flowers last for many days in a vase and will enliven any summer interior.

Sunflower comes from the sunny plains of North America and is an inseparable part of our gardens as a symbol of summer. The 'ProCut White Lite' variety brings a pleasant refreshment to the yellow assortment in the form of creamy light yellow flowers with an attractive greenish-yellow center. This is a reliable single-stem annual from a professional series bred specifically for floral purposes. It does not produce pollen, so you can use it in interior decorations without worrying about allergies. In the garden, it grows to a height of eighty to one hundred and twenty centimeters. The path to your own flowers begins with seeds, which are easy to work with and provide quick results. Ideally, start the sunflower seeds by pre-growing them in the warmth for one to two weeks. Covered seeds will germinate in five to ten days. Then, transplant them into sun or partial shade. You can repeat sowings from April to August, which will cause them to bloom gradually from July to autumn. Do not pinch the plants, but provide support for straight stems. Fresh flowers last a long time in a vase and will delight lovers of clean bouquets.

Statice is a classic from grandma's garden, but also an evergreen of dried flowers. We grow statice by the hundreds! It is incredibly useful in bouquets as filler material and even undried lasts a long time in a vase. Once all the florets on the stem bloom, statice no longer wilts and is suitable for wreaths, corsages, boutonnieres. QIS Pastel is a beautiful sample of colors in tones of blue, violet, lavender and pink. One plant produces at least 15 stems. For drying, we harvest statice at the stage when the stem under the flower is firm and the entire inflorescence has bloomed. Just hang them upside down, in a dry and ventilated place, out of sunlight.

It is hard to imagine anything more rustic. The 'Tall Double Black Boy' variety is a much fuller-flowered Cornflower than the one we commonly see along roadsides and hedgerows. It is a truly extraordinary piece, with a color that transitions from dark burgundy and plum to almost black. It grows to a height of sixty to eighty centimeters, so it appreciates support in the flower bed to prevent its thin stems from breaking. Seeds from spring or autumn sowings germinate very readily within five to ten days. It is best to sow them directly in a sunny or semi-shaded location. The flowers appear in the summer months from June to August and become a huge attraction for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. You will appreciate the Cornflower in naturalistic gardens alongside other annuals. It is absolutely great for cutting into vases, and its flowers also retain their shape and color when dried. If you like trying new things in the kitchen, you will be pleased to know that these dark flowers are edible and will beautifully brighten up summer salads or desserts.

Delphinium consolida, known better as Larkspur, is a typical annual for both country and modern gardens. The 'QIS White' cultivar stands out with pure white flowers that densely cover long, straight stems. These can grow up to one hundred and twenty centimeters in height, creating an interesting layer in the flower bed and adding airiness to the space. The pure white color acts as a great neutral element that easily connects even very colorful flowers in the vicinity. These are wonderful spring beauties that are hard to beat at the turn of spring and summer. They are very easy to grow from seeds and pose no major challenge for beginners. In floristry, they are suitable for wedding bouquets and for drying. For a perfect cut, you must be quick and harvest the stems before all the buds have fully opened. We recommend sowing the seeds gradually at two-week intervals during the spring or at the end of summer so you can enjoy the beauty of these flowers for as long as possible.

Cosmos 'Rosetta' is one of our favorite annuals. Its shape resembles a large daisy, but its flowers shine in shades of dark and light pink that look like they were painted with delicate brushstrokes. It originates naturally from the sunny regions of America, and here, it thrives best in a bright location. As it is a low-maintenance plant, growing it from seeds is easy even for beginners. You can sow the seeds indoors on a windowsill starting in April, or directly into a spot in the flower bed from May to July. Germination takes only a few days. It grows to a height of about one meter, forms beautifully sturdy stems, and blooms from June until October, constantly attracting bees and butterflies. In the garden, it is an excellent addition to mixed borders. If you enjoy creating bouquets, 'Rosetta' will thrill you as a cut flower. From a single plant, you will gradually get at least twelve strong stems for the vase.
