Pure splendor! We don't have nicer photos for this year because every year we cut the ornamental carrot down to the last stem and there is simply no time left for photos. Thin, strong stems and umbel inflorescences resembling dill at their ends. There are thousands of tiny flowers on each stem creating a veil or lace effect. It is a mixture of colors, where some flowers are pure white, but the majority are chocolate to burgundy with a touch of white.

Statice is a classic from grandma's garden, but also an evergreen of dried flowers. We grow statice by the hundreds! The Lady Coral series has flowers as fluffy as teddy bears and they are even more double-flowered than other China asters. Lady Coral Lavender is a rich shade of lavender purple. One plant produces 11-15 flowers.
