The Barlow series is our favorite Aquilegia because the flowers are double! We grow Aquilegia on our farm as annuals, so we sow new ones every year. This saves space and we also achieve longer stems. We grow some Aquilegia in a polytunnel and manage to harvest for Mother's Day, when flowers are scarce. Rose Barlow is a beautiful color combination, with the inside of the flowers being sweetly pink and the outside and stems slightly purplish.

An interesting name and an unusual flower resembling a bride's veil. The abundant blooms on their stems invite you to divide them into several smaller vases and adorn your windowsill. They fade quickly, so we recommend several successive sowings. You'll harvest 3-4 stems from one plant.

Cultivation

PŘEDPĚSTOVÁNÍ

Řebříček je trvalka. Doporučujeme předpěstovávat.

Sejeme 8-10 týdnů před posledními mrazy a to na povrch substrátu. Nezakrývat, řebříček potřebuje světlo ke klíčení. Dokud nevyrostou v pořádné sazeničky, je nutné zalévat pouze spodem, kdy vložíte sadbovač do misky s vodou a necháte vodu vzlínat.

PŘESAZENÍ

Zhruba 3 týdny po vysetí můžeme přesazovat do květináčů, kde necháme řebříček dorůst na přesazení.

VYSAZENÍ

Ven pak přesazujeme po posledních mrazech 45 cm od sebe.
