California Poppy Apricot Chiffon

Sluncovku doporučujeme do slunných záhonů, snese horko a sucho. My ji používáme hlavně do svatební floristiky, je totiž skvěle neokoukaná. Na vazbu klasických marketových kytic se tolik nehodí, stonky nejsou nijak pevné a sklizeň trvá déle. Rose Chifon je růžovo-korálovo-meruňková varianta. 

At the turn of spring and summer, large, full blooms are scarce. The last ranunculus have faded, and there's plenty of time before the first dahlias bloom. On our farm, it was always a struggle at that time to find beautiful, full, large flowers for bouquets. But we succeeded! We filled the void with asters and peony-flowered poppies. These poppies reliably replace peonies, ranunculus, and dahlias. Just keep in mind that they don't bloom for long and need a bit of care to last in a bouquet. We harvest buds just as they are about to open, sear the stem ends in water for a few seconds, and let them fully open in the vase. Peony-flowered poppy Salmon is a warm pink color.

Velouette is a cousin of the Rubenza cosmos. The wine-red shade is common to them, only this variety has strokes of white paint on its petals. What's beautiful is that each flower is different - on one you'll find more white, on another it's the opposite.

Cosmos in shades from cool lemon to warmer vanilla. Cosmos are an evergreen on our farm, and when a new shade appears, we jump right on it! The flowers are single, with the petal tips fading to white. Xanthos is a shorter cosmos, making it suitable for window boxes and pots on the balcony.
