Cultivation

Jsou vhodné zejména pro slunné záhony s propustnou a na živiny chudou půdou. Hodí se do štěrkových záhonů a stepních výsadeb. Kohoutek v zahradě obvykle vydrží jen 2–3 roky, ale velmi dobře se sám přesévá. Základem úspěchu je nepříliš hustá výsadba. V příliš konkurenčním prostředí dlouho nevydrží.
