The blue cornflower is an absolute classic of our fields and meadows, which probably needs no lengthy introduction. However, the 'Tall Double Blue Boy' variety brings something extra. Compared to its wild relatives that we see along roads, it boasts rich flowers in an unmistakable, deep blue shade, sometimes with a purple tone. You can hardly imagine anything more meadow-like. Thanks to its strong stems growing up to eighty centimeters tall, this annual is perfectly suited for cutting, adding true rustic charm to bouquets. But its use doesn't end in the vase. The flowers keep their fantastic color even after drying! At weddings, we loved using them in flower crowns and corsages, where they have excellent stamina! The petals are edible. They serve perfectly as an original garnish for summer salads, desserts, or festive cakes. Moreover, in the garden, it functions as a reliable magnet for bees and bumblebees, who simply go crazy for its nectar.

Shades of raspberry, compote, and sugared white. A big favorite of ours! Cornflower is a garden classic, and Cornflowers of the Classic series are real troopers! Strong, straight stems ensure excellent cut flower quality.

Different textures and flower sizes fit well into a flower bed. And Scabiosa is a great candidate! Small flowers the size of a coin, straight stems with a basal rosette, and individual buds resembling beads. QIS Dark Blue is a shade of light blue or violet.

Cosmos are an absolute classic and a matter of the heart for us! In the past, we cut them by hundreds of stems on the farm and our customers, especially brides, literally loved them for their lightness and elegance. While common cosmos mainly offer a white and deep pink palette, 'Apricotta' brings a completely new and fresh color tone to the flowerbeds. It is a unique combination of light pink and the lightest salmon, which looks incredibly tender and original. The flowers have a silky appearance and gently sway in the wind, which adds pleasant dynamics to the garden.

An interesting name and an unusual flower resembling baby's breath. The rich blooms on the stems invite you to divide them into several smaller vases to decorate a windowsill. It finishes blooming quickly, so we recommend succession planting. You will harvest 3-4 stems from a single plant.

Pale pink, delicate lace. Didiscus has a strange name, but it is a great beauty similar to Ammi or ornamental carrot. Flowers are disc-shaped with tiny florets. Didiscus finishes blooming faster, similar to Ammi or ornamental carrot, so we recommend multiple successional sowings. It likes warmth, so it can be sown even in summer.

Our Lenka used to bring Centranthus to us for wedding bouquets from her own garden, until we decided to grow it on our farm too. It is an undemanding piece, it prefers a sunny spot. The stems are fleshy and the inflorescence resembles oregano. For us, a great filler piece for bouquets. Color raspberry to pink.

An original wild perennial with a large distribution area from Europe to Siberia. Suitable for natural and wild plantings. It grows in meadows and dry grassy places. A very adaptable and undemanding plant, it grows in clumps and spreads by runners. Cutting back after the first bloom will encourage a flush of new flowers. We harvest them for bouquets when the florets are fully open. They last 10 days in a vase. 'Cerise Queen' has deep pink to purplish-pink flowers, gradually fading to light pink.

Ammi likes low temperatures, so it is purely a spring and autumn beauty. It adds a fresh and airy effect to all bouquets, and the same applies to the flower bed. The flowers are composed of individual tiny florets resembling lace, which is why we use it instead of baby's breath. 'Casablanca' is a larger Ammi; the plants are taller and more robust, the stems stronger, and it doesn't fade as quickly. Still, we recommend sowing more than once.

A classic among the whites; we've been growing it on the farm for several years now. Coneflower is a perennial, but don't worry, it's grown from seeds quite simply. Even growing it on in a pot is a breeze! Coneflower is a great cut flower and reproduces nicely. We also recommend drying the central parts for winter arrangements.

A garden classic, and Cornflowers of the Classic series are real troopers! Strong, straight stems ensure excellent cut flower quality. And the Classic Fantastic color combination reminds us of traditional Czech blueprint fabric. Shades transition from sky blue to the darkest blue. Flower centers are colored differently than the edges.

Warm orange and apricot. The Queen Lime series is our favorite Zinnia; it's love at first sight! The flowers are large, up to 10 cm, surrounded by many petals, giving a double-flowered appearance. Moving towards the center, the petals get smaller and end up unopened at the center, creating a frosted cupcake effect. No other Zinnia compares!

The Barlow series is our favorite columbine because the flowers are double-flowered! We grow columbines on our farm as annuals, so we sow new ones every year. This saves space and we achieve longer stems. We grow part of the columbines in a polytunnel so we catch the harvest for Mother's Day, when flowers are scarce. Rose Barlow is a beautiful color combination where the flower centers are sweet pink and the outsides and stems are slightly purplish.

A novelty in the Queen Lime series. Blotch is a lime green shade. The flowers are large, up to 10 cm, surrounded by many petals, giving a double-flowered appearance. Although correctly it is the Chinese hound's tongue, on the farm we don't call it anything other than forget-me-not! Unlike the classic water forget-me-not that we all know, this species has massive and long stems perfectly suited for binding. The color is a very fresh and distinct blue. Each plant produces 6-8 stems, and if you let some fade and ripen, seeds are easily collected.

A Poppy of a distinctive bordeaux color with light grey marbling. We have been growing corn poppies since the first days of Loukykvět and are returning to them again this year. The corn poppy needs more care as a cut flower and doesn't last as long in a vase. But! It is such beauty that it is worth it anyway. Here is our guide for corn poppies. We harvest buds that have just cracked open. It suffices to see a crack on the bud and color inside. The corn poppy has only a few petals, so it takes a moment to open. We freshly trim the ends and scald them in hot water (just boil water and use immediately), or sear the ends with a flame. The heat helps the poppy open paths for water absorption and it won't wilt. We arrange freshly opened pieces or buds in bouquets, given that the poppy will open during the day. If you plan to sow poppies just for pleasure in a flower bed, none of this is necessary of course :)

It is a color that is currently trendy in wedding floristry, so we never have any left in the flower bed. One plant produces at least 12 stems.

A flood of flowers resembling cotton candy; the Bicolor pink variant is full of soft pink shades. Some blooms are cool pink and others are in a warm blush color. One plant produces at least 12 stems.

A novelty among Scabiosas! This piece is from the QIS series, meaning a quality, bred variety. But that's not all; the color shade is also great. It is not black like the Scabiosa Black Purple, but a red wine, burgundy shade. And just like the others, the open flowers each have a white pistil, creating a sugared effect.

Cosmos are among the most popular flowers on our farm. And now imagine that such a hit comes in a fully double-flowered version! 'Double Click Cranberries' is a dark pink in a magenta shade. A single plant will produce at least 12 stems.

Sweet rocket is, along with columbine, one of the first spring harvests. For bouquets, we mix them with tulips, daffodils, and ranunculus. The stems are beautifully long; each plant produces 5-7 of them. Light shade of purple.

This Cosmos is special with its double fringed flowers. Cosimo Collarette features shades from snow white to light pink. It is shorter, making it perfectly suited for containers.
