Stock Katz Light Lavender

Stock is a wonderful cut flower! It likes low temperatures, yet we grow three batches a year – two in spring and one in autumn. You harvest just one bloom per plant, but it is a really large, double one. Stock smells beautiful, almost intoxicating, and lasts a long time in a vase. The flowers are edible. The Katz series is not as susceptible to temperature changes, and is generally easier to grow for beginning gardeners. However, this comes at the cost of thinner stems and a lower percentage of double flowers. Katz Light Lavender is a rich shade of lavender purple. All stocks produce some plants with double flowers and some single. The ratio is different for each series. Katz has 55-60% double-flowered plants. We therefore recommend growing a bit more. At our farm, however, we use the single ones too; they look super unique. Show full description

Statice QIS Pastel, Loukykvět
For drying

Limonium sinuatum

Statice is a classic from grandma's garden, but also an evergreen of dried flowers. We grow statice by the hundreds! It is incredibly useful in bouquets as filler material and even undried lasts a long time in a vase. Once all the florets on the stem bloom, statice no longer wilts and is suitable for wreaths, corsages, boutonnieres. QIS Pastel is a beautiful sample of colors in tones of blue, violet, lavender and pink. One plant produces at least 15 stems. For drying, we harvest statice at the stage when the stem under the flower is firm and the entire inflorescence has bloomed. Just hang them upside down, in a dry and ventilated place, out of sunlight.

Matthiola incana

Stock is a great flower for cutting! It likes low temperatures, even so we grow three batches a year – two in spring and one in autumn. You harvest only one flower from one plant, but a really big double-flowered one. Stock smells wonderfully, almost intoxicatingly, and lasts a long time in a vase. The flowers are edible. The Iron series has robust stems and all the qualities for large production. However, it is more susceptible to temperature fluctuation, and therefore is more difficult to grow, so we recommend it rather for advanced gardeners. Iron Cherry Blossom is a delicate shade of pink in the colors of apple blossoms. All stocks have some plants with double flowers and some single. The ratio is different for every series. Iron has 55% double-flowered plants. We therefore recommend growing a bit more. But at our farm we also use the single ones, they are super unique.

Cosmos Apricotta, Loukykvět

Cosmos bipinnatus

Cosmos are an absolute classic and a matter of the heart for us! In the past, we cut them by hundreds of stems on the farm and our customers, especially brides, literally loved them for their lightness and elegance. While common cosmos mainly offer a white and deep pink palette, 'Apricotta' brings a completely new and fresh color tone to the flowerbeds. It is a unique combination of light pink and the lightest salmon, which looks incredibly tender and original. The flowers have a silky appearance and gently sway in the wind, which adds pleasant dynamics to the garden.

Cultivation

Vysejeme 1 semeno do buňky sadbovače. Sejeme na povrch substrátu a zakryjeme vrstvou vermikulitu.

Při teplotě 20 - 22 °C fiala vyklíčí za 3 - 5 dní. Pozor, naopak příliš vysoká teplota (přes 25 °C) snižuje u fialy klíčivost.

V sadbovači fiala stráví 4 - 5 týdnů, než doroste v sazeničku, kterou můžete sázet do záhonu.

Pokvete vám totiž a bude mít sotva 15 cm.

Po přesazení záhon důkladně zalijte. U fial držte pravidelnou zálivku, aby pořádně zakořenily a zároveň rostly do výšky. Nezapomeňte pravidelně přihnojovat. Jakmile začnou fialy kvést můžete na zálivce ubrat.

OPORA

Pokud jste profesionál a pěstujete fialu k řezu, doporučujeme oporu, resp. síť, kterou budou fialy prorůstat.

Doporučujeme do začátků.

You harvest only one flower from one plant, but it is a really big double one. Stock smells wonderful, almost intoxicatingly, and lasts a long time in a vase. The flowers are edible. Stock from the Cheerful series is, in terms of difficulty, somewhere between the Iron and Katz series. So moderately difficult. A reliable piece! Cheerful Yellow is a butter yellow color. All Stocks have some plants with double flowers and some simple ones. The ratio is different for every series. Cheerful has 90% double-flowered plants, which is a great score. At our farm, however, we also use the simple ones; they are super unique.

Stock Iron Pink, Loukykvět

Matthiola incana

Stock is a great flower for cutting! It likes low temperatures, even so we grow three batches a year – two in spring and one in autumn. You harvest only one flower from one plant, but a really big double-flowered one. Stock smells wonderfully, almost intoxicatingly, and lasts a long time in a vase. The flowers are edible. The Iron series has robust stems and all the qualities for large production. However, it is more susceptible to temperature fluctuation, and therefore is more difficult to grow, so we recommend it rather for advanced gardeners. Iron Pink is a shade of pink with delicate light reflections in the middle of the flowers. All stocks have some plants with double flowers and some single. The ratio is different for every series. Iron has 55% double-flowered plants. We therefore recommend growing a bit more. But at our farm we also use the single ones, they are super unique.

Stock StoX Vexta Bonbons Mix, Loukykvět
Mix barev

Matthiola incana

✨ Color mix created at Loukykvět ✨ We intended StoX Vexta Bombons as the softest pastel shades of pink, apricot, and yellow. This color mix reminds us of Czech Vexta candies at first glance, we pay tribute to them with this! The StoX series is a versatile Stock suitable for both classic spring cultivation and autumn harvest. The seed contains a high proportion of double-flowered plants, but as with every summer Stock, StoX also has pieces that flower singly. Robust stems are a great advantage, and it also withstands higher temperatures better than other Stock series.

Cornflower Tall Double Blue Boy, Loukykvět

Centaurea cyanus

The blue cornflower is an absolute classic of our fields and meadows, which probably needs no lengthy introduction. However, the 'Tall Double Blue Boy' variety brings something extra. Compared to its wild relatives that we see along roads, it boasts rich flowers in an unmistakable, deep blue shade, sometimes with a purple tone. You can hardly imagine anything more meadow-like. Thanks to its strong stems growing up to eighty centimeters tall, this annual is perfectly suited for cutting, adding true rustic charm to bouquets. But its use doesn't end in the vase. The flowers keep their fantastic color even after drying! At weddings, we loved using them in flower crowns and corsages, where they have excellent stamina! The petals are edible. They serve perfectly as an original garnish for summer salads, desserts, or festive cakes. Moreover, in the garden, it functions as a reliable magnet for bees and bumblebees, who simply go crazy for its nectar.

It is a unique combination of light pink and the lightest salmon, which looks incredibly tender and original. The flowers have a silky appearance and gently sway in the wind, which adds pleasant dynamics to the garden.
