Wedding Entourage for Peonies
A collection in soft, neutral tones for sunny or light-shade spots. It contains species that love good, moist soil. It works great with peonies, but also with smooth or panicle hydrangeas. Keep in mind that peonies bloom best when exposed to at least six hours of sun per day, so reserve the sunniest spot in the bed for them. All perennials in the collection are also suitable for cutting.
When planning, count on an average of six to seven perennials per m², depending on your soil quality and your specific goals. In nutrient-rich and sufficiently moist soil, perennials will grow faster and spacing can be wider to start; in poorer conditions, it is better to plant more densely. The amount of time you can dedicate to garden maintenance will also be a deciding factor.
You can work creatively with our collection and tailor it to your needs and your garden. In your cart, you can easily adjust plant quantities and choose appropriate species or cultivar substitutions. For example, if you already grow peonies and just need suitable perennial companions, you can simply keep only the perennials in your cart. During autumn shopping, you can take advantage of available bulbs and order the complete collection, including narcissi and alliums, which will ensure your bed is full of flowers throughout spring and summer. A big bonus is the selection of seeds. It consists of proven annual species that are easy to grow so that they bloom at the same time as the peonies. You can either direct-sow them directly into your perennial bed or grow them separately to harvest for bouquets.

The Thalia narcissus is a delicate and delightful piece that brings unique elegance to the spring garden. In April and May, two to three smaller flowers bloom on each of its stems. The pure white color may seem simple at first glance, but with this narcissus, it is 100% true that the greatest beauty lies in simplicity. The plant reaches a height of thirty to forty centimeters and fits perfectly into spring flower beds, where it beautifully complements colorful bulbs or lower perennials. In addition to being a feast for the eyes, it also offers a wonderful fragrance that reliably attracts the first spring bees and other pollinators looking for food after winter. Thalia is also absolutely invaluable for cutting. Florists love it and very often include it in wedding bouquets or delicate spring arrangements, to which it adds lightness and purity.

Cranesbill Biokovo
Dense carpets of fresh green leaves and delicate pastel flowers make Cantabrigiense cranesbill Biokovo a great choice for any garden. This resilient natural species has its original distribution area in the Croatian Biokovo mountains, where it had to adapt to harsher conditions, so it will easily handle frosts reaching minus twenty-eight degrees here. In the garden, it will benefit most from partial shade or full sun and standard well-draining loamy soil. As a versatile groundcover perennial, it quickly overgrows empty spaces and brings an extra bonus, as its aromatic foliage does not drop in milder winters. The flowers appear on upright stems from May to July, and the plant does not suffer from diseases or pests. The flowers are delicately white with a pink tinge and are adorned with striking purple stamens, which reliably attract bees. A carefully grown seedling in a pot will arrive from us, which you just need to transplant straight into the flowerbed. In addition, you can cut the flowers for a vase for various smaller floristic arrangements, where they will reliably bring joy for about five to seven days.

Delicate decorative, long-lived shade-loving perennials with pinnate leaves and magnificent feathery inflorescences. They originate primarily from East Asia, but also from eastern North America. They look best in large-scale plantings. Due to relatively late sprouting, it is good to combine them with early-flowering bulbs. They last 4–10 days in a vase. We harvest as soon as half of the inflorescence is in bloom. They are very sensitive to ethylene released from ripening fruit. Europa blooms light pink.

The common columbine is a popular spring perennial that inherently belongs in both traditional and modern gardens. The original species grows in light forests and on the edges of meadows across Europe, so it thrives best in partial shade or full sun and ordinary loamy soil rich in humus. From us, you will receive a grown seedling in a pot, which you just need to transplant to your chosen spot. It survives winter and frosts absolutely without any problems. Although it is a short-lived perennial, it reliably self-seeds in flowerbeds. Early in the spring, it delights with fresh green leaves, above which delicate flowers bloom in May and June on thin stems growing up to eighty centimeters tall. The 'Rose Barlow' cultivar is exceptional for its double flowers in a beautiful dusty pink shade, which reliably attract bees and add wonderful lightness to plantings. It is perfectly suited for spring bouquets, where it will bring joy in a vase for up to seven days. However, it is not suitable for drying, and it is necessary to remember that the entire plant is poisonous.

Chasmanthium is one of the most charming ornamental grasses, bringing movement and a gentle rustling sound to the garden. It originates from the eastern part of North America, where it naturally grows in light, damp forests or on the banks of streams, so it is best suited to partial shade and humous, non-drying soil. Dwarf Lady's Mantle is a smaller and more elegant sister to the more famous Lady's Mantle. This charming perennial comes from the mountain meadows of Eastern Europe and the Caucasus, where it forms low cushions in rock crevices and on grassy slopes. It got its species name from its strikingly red-colored stems, which create a beautiful contrast with its grayish-green leaves. These have the ability to catch drops of morning dew or rain, which sparkle on them like little pearls, giving the plant a magical look. Thanks to its compact growth, reaching a height of only about 25 centimeters, it is an ideal choice for edging flowerbeds, for rockeries, or as an underplanting beneath taller perennials and roses. It blooms from May to July with a flood of tiny lime-yellow blossoms that will brighten up even the semi-shady corners of the garden. It is a completely undemanding plant suitable even for novice growers, it does not suffer from pests or diseases, and reliably handles even stronger frosts. In floristry, Lady's Mantle is valued as universal supplementary greenery. Its airy inflorescences add lightness and volume to bouquets, while staying fresh in a vase for a long time. Herbaceous garden peonies are long-lived perennials, but they require patience from the gardener. Most cultivars have their origins in Chinese and common peonies, which were a traditional part of monastery gardens. Jacob's Ladder White Pearl
The White Pearl Jacob's ladder presents an elegant yet very resilient perennial that overwinters without problems in our conditions. The original species grows in damp habitats from Europe to Siberia, making it an ideal plant for humus-rich and moister soils. If you have a spot in the garden that is not explicitly dry, Jacob's ladder will reward you with vital growth and abundant blooming. Its leaves are divided and arranged so regularly that they resemble the rungs of a ladder. This is where its common name, Jacob's ladder, comes from. During June and July, stems with pure white flowers adorned with delicate yellow stamens tower above the clumps of leaves. The White Pearl variety grows to a height of around 80 centimeters and looks very airy in perennial beds. It is perfectly suited for partially shaded areas but will also tolerate sun if provided with regular watering. The flowers are a magnet for bees and other beneficial insects. Floristically, Jacob's ladder is valuable for its longevity and decorative appearance. We cut the stems the moment the first third of the flowers has bloomed, so they last as long as possible in a vase, which is usually seven to ten days.
