Larkspur Frozen Mix

✨ A color mix created at Loukykvět ✨ Elsa and Anna larkspur mix. Lilac ashy purple, white, and light and dark blue, a frozen kingdom. The larkspur packet contains a larger amount of seeds because we recommend direct sowing straight into the flowerbed. And that often brings worse conditions, which leads to a significantly lower number of resulting plants. That's why the packet is so big :) Show full description

Tulip Angélique, Loukykvět
Fragrant

Tulipa

The Angélique tulip is one of our most popular varieties, and as soon as it blooms, you will understand why. Its full flowers with a rich petal structure resemble peonies or fluffy English roses at first glance. They open into beautiful pastel tones ranging from creamy and powdery to light pink. On sturdy stems, it grows to a height of about thirty to forty-five centimeters, making it a perfect fit for mixed spring flower beds and smaller group plantings. The delicate beauty of the flowers also brings a very pleasant sweet fragrance to the garden, which is not exactly common among tulips. The large bulbs you receive will grow into vigorous plants in the spring. Angélique is absolutely ideal for cutting. We recommend harvesting the stems for the vase when the buds are fully colored but still slightly closed. At home, they will delight you for many days and gently scent the entire room.

Blooming in April and May, the pure white flowers open on sturdy stems reaching heights of about thirty to forty-five centimeters. This variety is characterized by fresh green leaves that provide a crisp contrast to the delicate petals. We send our customers the largest bulbs, which will grow into strong plants. Larkspur Benary’s Pacific Summer Skies, Loukykvět

Delphinium hybrida

The heavenly blue larkspur Benary’s Pacific Summer Skies brings a striking vertical element to the garden and plenty of food for bees. In the wild, larkspurs grow on nutrient-rich soils with plenty of moisture. Therefore, you should preferably prepare a sunny spot for it in heavier humus soil and ensure truly generous watering. The Summer Skies cultivar grows to a height of up to one and a half meters and forms beautiful blue inflorescences during June, August, and September. You will receive from us a grown seedling in a pot, fully ready for planting in the flower bed. This is a plant for slightly more advanced growers. It is good to protect it from spring invasions of slugs and in the hot summer keep an eye out for any possible occurrence of powdery mildew. The reward, however, will be perfect flowers that are made for cutting. They will stay fresh in a vase for a whole week, just keep them away from a fruit bowl due to their sensitivity to ethylene. Florists also like to use this variety in dried arrangements, because the typical blue color does not fade after drying. When handling, remember that the entire plant is poisonous. Despite its mild demands, however, thanks to its extreme frost resistance and stunning beauty, it will quickly become the star of any garden.

Sunflower ProCut White Lite, Loukykvět

Helianthus annuus

Sunflower comes from the sunny plains of North America and is an inseparable part of our gardens as a symbol of summer. The 'ProCut White Lite' variety brings a pleasant refreshment to the yellow assortment in the form of creamy light yellow flowers with an attractive greenish-yellow center. This is a reliable single-stem annual from a professional series bred specifically for floral purposes. It does not produce pollen, so you can use it in interior decorations without worrying about allergies. In the garden, it grows to a height of eighty to one hundred and twenty centimeters. The path to your own flowers begins with seeds, which are easy to work with and provide quick results. Ideally, start the sunflower seeds by pre-growing them in the warmth for one to two weeks. Covered seeds will germinate in five to ten days. Then, transplant them into sun or partial shade. You can repeat sowings from April to August, which will cause them to bloom gradually from July to autumn. Do not pinch the plants, but provide support for straight stems. Once all the florets on the stem bloom, statice no longer wilts and is suitable for wreaths, corsages, boutonnieres. QIS Pastel is a beautiful sample of colors in tones of blue, violet, lavender and pink. One plant produces at least 15 stems. For drying, we harvest statice at the stage when the stem under the flower is firm and the entire inflorescence has bloomed. Salvia Blue Note, Loukykvět
Special offer

Salvia gregii

Sage 'Blue Note' is a truly tireless bloomer among flowering plants, which will delight you with its flowers from May until the first frosts in November. The original species of this sage come from the dry and sunny regions of Texas and Mexico, making it a lover of sun and heat. In our conditions, it is best utilized as a portable plant in containers on terraces and balconies, where its compact growth and flood of tiny blue-purple flowers will stand out. Although it can withstand temperatures dropping to -12 °C, in colder areas we recommend wintering it in a protected frost-free place, or providing careful winter covering if you plant it in the ground in a sheltered spot. The leaves have a pleasant spicy scent, and the entire plant acts as a magnet for bees and other pollinators. 'Blue Note' is valued primarily for its unique flower shade, which hovers on the border between dark blue and purple. Growing it is easy even for beginners; it just needs well-drained soil, a sunny location, and occasional watering. Thanks to its edible flowers, you can also colorfully enliven summer salads or desserts.

Astrantia, Loukykvět

Astrantia major

Astrantia is a charming long-lived perennial with palmately lobed leaves and pure white flowers that will liven up any flowerbed. In nature, it grows in damp meadows or light forests, so it will thrive best for you in partial shade and in loamy, humous soil with plenty of moisture. It forms compact clumps and from June to September shoots up sturdy, upright stems that do not need support. They branch richly and carry small umbels of flowers with striking toothed bracts with translucent green. We will deliver a mature potted seedling that you can simply transplant to a suitable spot. This fully frost-hardy plant attracts bees and butterflies and willingly self-seeds in a good location. It is excellently suited for cutting, staying fresh in a vase for ten to fourteen days. Burnet Pink Tanna, Loukykvět
Perennial of the Season 2026

The 'Pink Tanna' variety boasts a delicate shade of old rose, which brings a romantic and airy element to the flowerbeds. Its inflorescences gracefully sway in the wind, creating constant movement in the garden. This long-lived perennial is vital for the rare dusky large blue butterfly and attracts other pollinators as well. Cultivation

V tomto období by teploty neměly klesnou pod bod mrazu a nepřekročit 10°C.

Thanks to its strong stems growing up to eighty centimeters tall, this annual is perfectly suited for cutting, adding true rustic charm to bouquets. But its use doesn't end in the vase. Cornflower Tall Double Red Boy, Loukykvět

Centaurea cyanus

Everyone knows classic field cornflowers, but the 'Tall Double Red Boy' variety brings a completely different spectacle to the garden. It is a very unusual shade of deep raspberry, which we fell in love with immediately after one plant accidentally bloomed among our blue cornflowers last year. The richly double flowers measure approximately four centimeters in diameter and grow on stems up to eighty centimeters tall. The silvery gray-green foliage gives the whole composition a delicate look that beautifully softens the surrounding planting. The raspberry cornflower stands out best in natural-looking flower beds, where it pairs perfectly with ornamental grasses, daisies, or white-flowering annuals. Throughout the summer, it serves as a plentiful feast for bees and bumblebees. Lovers of fresh arrangements love using it in colorful summer bouquets, where its unconventional color immediately catches everyone's eye. It works just as well for drying into dry decorations that will remind you of warm days even during the cold months. Moreover, it is a plant with edible flowers, which you can easily use to decorate festive cakes or summer drinks.

The flowers act as a reliable attractant for bees and bumblebees. Nigella is a spring beauty, but its seed pods are also great for harvesting, meaning it will last in the garden well into summer. These original, inflated seed pods are a sought-after material for florists. Fresh flowering stems beautifully liven up summer bouquets in a vase, while the dried pods perfectly complement autumn decorations, as they retain their shape for a long time.
