Stock is a wonderful cut flower! It likes low temperatures, yet we grow three batches a year – two in spring and one in autumn. You harvest just one bloom per plant, but it is a really large, double one. Stock smells beautiful, almost intoxicating, and lasts a long time in a vase. The flowers are edible. The Katz series is not as susceptible to temperature changes, and is generally easier to grow for beginning gardeners. However, this comes at the cost of thinner stems and a lower percentage of double flowers. Katz Apricot is the most beautiful shade of skin-tone apricot. All stocks produce some plants with double flowers and some single. The ratio is different for each series. Katz has 55-60% double-flowered plants. We therefore recommend growing a bit more. At our farm, however, we use the single ones too; they look super unique.

Cosmos are an absolute classic and a matter of the heart for us! In the past, we cut them by hundreds of stems on the farm and our customers, especially brides, literally loved them for their lightness and elegance. While common cosmos mainly offer a white and deep pink palette, 'Apricotta' brings a completely new and fresh color tone to the flowerbeds. It is a unique combination of light pink and the lightest salmon, which looks incredibly tender and original. The flowers have a silky appearance and gently sway in the wind, which adds pleasant dynamics to the garden.

The Dianthus from the 'Barbienne' series is a Sweet William. The stems are therefore thicker and stronger than, for example, a Carnation. The inflorescence is in the form of a cluster, where at the end of the stem there is a "mushroom" composed of smaller florets. It worked best for us to plant them in the polytunnel as early as autumn; in spring, you then harvest a flood of meter-long stems. From one plant, you harvest at least 10 full-quality stems that grow and bloom gradually. Dianthus 'Barbienne Rose' is a shade of fuchsia pink.

'Grandiflorum' might suggest something large, but the opposite is true; Ammobium is one of the tiniest flowers we grow on the farm. The plant isn't very tall, maximum 45 cm, but each one will give you 10 to 15 stems with tiny white stars at the ends. Once opened, the flowers are bright yellow. The florets resemble a Strawflower and dry just as well. For drying, we recommend harvesting at the bud stage, but if you dry already opened yellow flowers, you get an interesting white-brown combination that is also worth it. It fits perfectly into wedding floristry, especially wreaths, because it doesn't wilt. For drying, we harvest it the moment the first flowers open. The Cresto series has mostly double flowers, scabiosa-flowered type. Colors range from pink to apricot. Compared to the Peaches & Cream variant, this is a cool pink.

A classic among Nigellas, a shade of deep sky blue. Nigella is a spring beauty, but its pods are also great for harvesting, so it lasts in the flowerbed until summer.
