The Barlow series is our favorite columbine because the flowers are double-flowered! We grow columbines on our farm as annuals, so we sow new ones every year. This saves space and we achieve longer stems. We grow part of the columbines in a polytunnel so we catch the harvest for Mother's Day, when flowers are scarce. Rose Barlow is a beautiful color combination where the flower centers are sweet pink and the outsides and stems are slightly purplish.

A perennial originally from South America, growing in mountain meadows at altitudes up to 2500 meters. It is evergreen, with leaves similar to those of an iris, and forms rhizomes. The flowers are about 1 cm wide, pale yellow with a golden center.

Sweet rocket is, along with columbine, one of the first spring harvests. For bouquets, we mix them with tulips, daffodils, and ranunculus. The stems are beautifully long; each plant produces 5-7 of them. Light shade of purple.

Larkspurs are spring beauties that nothing compares to. However, if you want to harvest them for cut flowers, you must be vigilant and harvest quickly before all the buds open. They finish blooming quickly, especially during the warm springs of recent years, so we sow several batches 14 days apart just to keep up with the harvest. Larkspur QIS White is a soft white that fits beautifully into wedding floristry. You harvest one stronger stem and 4-5 smaller side stems from a single plant.

Great news for all Snapdragon lovers! Finally, a new "open-faced" Snapdragon has appeared on the market, meaning an open flower instead of the classic Snapdragon "mouth". And the second piece of good news is that we immediately added it to our assortment! Snapdragon Frappe White blooms in various shades of white, from green-white to pure white to cream. The Chantilly series of open-faced Snapdragons seems to be unavailable long-term, so we are glad to have a replacement for you. And it seems to be an even greater replacement. The stems are robust, the plants tall—for us, true cut-flower quality!

This species of sage originally comes from the steppe regions of Central and Eastern Europe. It forms profusely flowering small clumps with straight upright stems. In flower beds, it looks best in groups. Traditionally, due to the identical flowering time, it is planted as a companion to roses. The cultivar Caradonna stands out with a long flowering period and dark, almost black-purple stems with tiny purple flowers and dark purple bracts. If we cut it back after flowering, it will bloom again in late August and September.

Gaura Siskiyou Pink is a charming perennial that brings lightness and airiness to the garden. Its original native area is in the warm regions of Texas and Louisiana, which is why it thrives in full sun and well-drained sandy soil. It grows in clumps and from June until the autumn frosts produces tiny raspberry-pink flowers that resemble fluttering butterflies. An interesting detail of this variety is the green leaves with a bronze tint and red spots. It is an absolutely undemanding plant, does not suffer from diseases or pests, and even beginners can handle its care. You will receive a grown seedling in a pot from us, which you simply need to transplant directly into the flowerbed. Here it complements ornamental grasses perfectly and acts as an attraction for bees and bumblebees. Although it grows more as a short-lived perennial in our climate, in a suitable place it reliably self-seeds. Occasional pinching will encourage richer branching. Gaura is excellent for summer bouquets. We cut the stems for a vase as soon as the first two to three little flowers open.

The Roseus hyssop is an aromatic subshrub whose structure and requirements strongly resemble the popular lavender. It originally comes from the sunny and dry regions of the Mediterranean and Asia Minor, so it thrives best in direct sun here as well. It favors well-drained, sandy, and even nutrient-poor soil, where it easily copes with a lack of moisture. You will receive a grown seedling in a pot from us, which you simply transplant straight into the flower bed, where it will very soon form a neat, richly branched bush reaching a height of around fifty centimeters. It is an absolutely undemanding plant that is not bothered by diseases or pests, so its cultivation can be easily handled even by complete beginners. It comfortably withstands severe frosts down to minus twenty-three degrees Celsius. In the garden, hyssop finds wide application. It fits perfectly into steppe-character gravel beds and beautifully complements roses or lower ornamental grasses. During the summer until early autumn, the Roseus variety will delight you with a flood of tiny flowers in a delicate light pink shade. These flowers, as well as the narrow green leaves, emit a pleasant spicy fragrance and reliably act as a huge lure for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. Since all parts of the plant are edible, you can also use hyssop in the kitchen as a herb to flavor dishes or prepare a medicinal tea from it. You can also cut the long flowering stems for a vase, where they will add a fine texture and lightness to summer bouquets. Although the flowers are not suitable for drying for floral purposes, the plant will please you in the flower bed even out of season. The 'Rock and Roll' burnet brings dynamics and lightness to the garden. This is a cultivar that resembles the popular 'Pink Tanna' variety but boasts inflorescences in a delicate shade of old rose. Over time, after blooming, these darken into an interesting light burgundy color, allowing the plant to change its character throughout the season. The clumps grow firmly and stably, so they do not fall over in the flowerbed. The original botanical species grows in moist meadows and is vital for the rare dusky large blue butterfly. Betony, or Stachys, Morning Blush is a reliable perennial that will win you over not only with its flowers but also with its leaf structure. The original species comes from the mountain meadows of the Caucasus and northern Turkey, where it grows in sunny and slightly moist habitats. In the garden, it creates dense, compact clumps of wrinkled, deep green leaves that work as great ground cover and suppress weed growth. Above them, from May to July, sturdy upright stems carrying large deadnettle-like flowers rise. It is a magnet for bees and bumblebees, which find a rich source of nectar in the flowers. The Morning Blush cultivar is exceptional for its delicate coloring. Unlike the more common purple varieties, it offers a palette from pure white to softly pinkish, bringing light and elegance to flower beds. It fits into country gardens as well as more modern perennial plantings, where it contrasts beautifully with darker plants. The inflorescences are also suitable for cutting into a vase, where they stay fresh for several days. It is a long-lived and undemanding plant that handles our winters perfectly and requires almost no care.

To look most natural in flower beds, it is good to plant them in loose groups of a few pieces together with other drought-loving perennials and bulbs. Only then will their stems and inflorescences, set in motion by the slightest breeze, stand out. A grass naturally distributed in Europe, Central Asia, and North Africa. It forms sturdy grey-green clumps with upright stems. The flowers, in the form of silvery-white awns, resemble long hair.

These beauties love heat, which is why we associate them mainly with the end of summer and early autumn. Searing helps with vase life: dip freshly cut stems into 90°C water for 3 minutes and then immediately into cold water. One plant produces at least 5 stems. Knautia macedonica is an abundantly and long-flowering undemanding perennial. Its wild form originates from the Balkans, where it grows in meadows and scrubland. It enchants in flower beds with slender, tall stems bearing pastel burgundy and pink flowers. Suitable for naturalistic sunny to semi-shady beds and meadow bouquets.

Ammi likes low temperatures, so it is purely a spring and autumn beauty. It adds a fresh and airy effect to all bouquets, and the same applies to the flower bed. The flowers are composed of individual tiny florets resembling lace, which is why we use it instead of baby's breath. 'Casablanca' is a larger Ammi; the plants are taller and more robust, the stems stronger, and it doesn't fade as quickly. Still, we recommend sowing more than once.

Its homeland is the sunny plains and meadows of North America, so it will also grow best in full sun in your garden.
