Hot Summer in Citrus Tones
A collection diverse in both color and shape, designed for full-sun beds with well-drained soil that dries out well in winter, ensuring the most stable conditions for your plants. It is ideal for gravel-mulched beds, as it contains plants that look natural in such an environment and do not require daily care. You will find mostly smaller flowers here, but in a varied range of colors and shapes. Catmint and resilient spurge provide the first green elements in spring. We chose catmint in an unconventional pink, but you can supplement it with white or classic blue varieties. Yellow is provided by goldenrod—a cultivar with sterile vanilla-yellow flowers—and yellow lupine look-alike (Thermopsis), which, despite its flower shape, thrives perfectly in the conditions of a steppe bed. Oregano adds scent and an edible element; you can choose among the herbs. We opted for the 'Herrenhausen' cultivar with its striking, darker inflorescence, which is well-suited for both fresh bouquets and drying. And white? It shouldn't be missed. Whirling butterflies (Gaura) also bring an element of lightness and movement to the entire bed. Pearly everlasting (Anaphalis) with its silvery-grey leaves creates ground-covering cushions upon which its white, strawflower-like bead-like blooms will stand out. And what about grasses? 'Pony Tails' feather grass is a good choice for dry, sunny places, and if you want to discover the magic of our native grasses, reach for thread-leaved, fine-leaved, or melic grass. In addition to small-flowered alliums, brodiaeas will also look great in such beds. You can complete the color palette by sowing nigella and Californian poppy. This collection will be a major attraction for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. You can easily combine this collection with plants from our 'Hot Summer' line.
When planning, count on an average of six to seven perennials per m², depending on the soil quality in your garden and your intentions. In nutritious and sufficiently moist soil, perennials will grow faster and the distances between them can be larger to start with; in poorer conditions, it will be better to plant them more densely. The time you can dedicate to bed maintenance will also be a deciding factor.
With our collection, you can work creatively and adapt it to your needs and your garden. In the basket, you can easily adjust plant counts and choose appropriate species and cultivar substitutes. For example, if you are already growing some of the perennials in this collection and only need to supplement your bed, you can keep only the selected species in your basket. Conversely, when shopping in autumn, you can take advantage of available bulbs and order the complete collection, including spring bulbs and alliums, which will ensure your bed has plenty of flowers in both spring and summer.

Catmint 'Alba' is an aromatic perennial whose botanical name probably refers to the ancient Etruscan city of Nepet, where it was once widely grown. Today, it is an indispensable part of sunny flower beds, where it thrives best in well-drained, sandy soil. It stands out for its extraordinary hardiness, easily handling harsh frosts down to minus thirty-four degrees, and does not suffer from diseases or pests. Even beginners can easily handle growing it. You will receive an already mature seedling in a pot from us, which you just need to transplant straight into the garden, where it will form a vigorous clump of grayish-green leaves. In the garden, it functions as an ideal companion for roses as well as for natural-style plantings. During May, June, and again in September, it becomes covered in pure white flowers that attract bees and butterflies. This variety from the faassenii group grows to a height of fifty centimeters and has long, straight stems suitable for cutting.

Allium neapolitanum
Allium neapolitanum traveled to us from the sunny Mediterranean, where it grows naturally in dry steppe communities. In spring, during May and June, it produces thirty to fifty-centimeter-tall upright stems that bear delicate, star-shaped, pure white flowers. The entire plant also has a pleasant fragrance and acts as a reliable lure for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, to whom it offers valuable food at the beginning of the season. We always select and send our customers the largest available bulbs, from which strong and healthy plants will easily grow. In gardens, this garlic looks absolutely great in combination with drought-tolerant grasses and various herbs, where its pure white flowers stand out beautifully. Goldenrod Golden Glory
The 'Golden Glory' goldenrod is a radiant and completely undemanding perennial that will bring plenty of positive energy to the garden at the end of summer. The original wild species originate from North America and often carry the reputation of uninvited guests in our region. But you don't have to worry at all. These modern garden cultivars are bred to behave, act moderately, and do not spread uncontrollably across the flower bed. In a sunny spot with well-drained loamy soil, they quickly grow into abundant clumps. For ideal growth, we recommend maintaining a spacing of about fifty centimeters, which corresponds to roughly four to six plants per square meter. They will easily handle even severe frosts dropping down to minus twenty-eight degrees.
From August to October, it produces upright stems fifty to a hundred centimeters tall that carry rich inflorescences. The fresh green leaves and golden-yellow flowers of the 'Golden Glory' cultivar literally shine from afar and act as a perfect magnet for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies, providing them with much-needed food before winter arrives. In flower beds, the plant needs no support and does not suffer from diseases or pests, so even a complete beginner can easily manage its care. Definitely do not cut the dead stems for winter. Their silhouette, covered with frost, creates a wonderful winter effect.
Goldenrod is specially bred for cutting and will become a great addition to your autumn bouquets. The flowers will stay beautiful in a vase for about ten days, and you can cut both fully blooming stems and those with small buds. If you are involved in floristry or just like creating decorations, you will certainly appreciate that it is perfectly suited for drying. We will deliver to you an already grown seedling in a pot, which you simply transplant straight to your chosen spot.

The bright yellow flowers of the Thermopsis 'Sunrise' will brighten up your garden as early as late May, when striking raceme inflorescences appear on its sturdy stems. In appearance, it slightly resembles the well-known lupine, but unlike it, it is an exceptionally long-lived and hardy perennial. Gaura is a charming clump-forming perennial whose original homeland is the sunny plains of Texas and Louisiana. In the garden, it will appreciate exactly the conditions it is used to from nature, meaning full sun and well-drained, even poorer and sandy soil. A sturdy clump that grows to a height of around eighty centimeters will grow from the seedling you receive. It belongs among the very undemanding plants for beginners, which are completely avoided by diseases and pests. Although it behaves more like a short-lived perennial here, it willingly self-seeds in a suitable location. The tiny little flowers colored in pure white and light pink shades resemble small butterflies and bloom tirelessly from June all the way to October. It adds extraordinary lightness and airiness to flower beds, making it combine beautifully with ornamental grasses. During its long months of blooming, gaura is constantly surrounded by bees, for which it represents a rich food source. The flowers are perfectly suited for cutting into summer bouquets.
