Planting in a sunny location: For a successful start, the most important thing is choosing the right location, which should be bathed in sun all day long. Plant the supplied seedlings in dry, well-drained, and sandy soil. If you have heavier clay soil in your garden, be sure to mix in a larger amount of sand and fine gravel before planting to ensure perfect water drainage. Place the seedlings at a spacing of thirty centimeters apart. Thanks to this, they will have plenty of space to grow, you will ensure good airflow for them, and you will support their natural health. The great news is that oregano is naturally completely disease-free and even common garden pests avoid it, so you will avoid any worries with spraying.
Care during the season and fertilizing: During the season, the plant is almost maintenance-free. Given its origin on stony hillsides, it handles drought excellently and requires artificial irrigation only right after planting, until the seedlings take root. Later, water it only during extremely long summer heatwaves. You can skip fertilizing with a clear conscience; poor soil suits it perfectly. Oregano is also an excellent choice for growing in containers and pots. With this method of cultivation, don't forget drainage holes and a quality drainage layer at the bottom of the container. Mix the substrate for growing in a window box with a large proportion of sand. Even in a pot, the rule of watering only after the substrate has completely dried out applies. Its aromatic green leaves, which by the way are edible and great for summer cooking, will thus have a much more intense and spicy flavor.

It thrives in full sun as well as in partial shade, where it quickly forms a dense clump of fresh green leaves reaching a height of forty to sixty centimeters. You will receive a beautifully grown seedling in a pot from us, which you just need to transplant directly into the flower bed or a spacious container. When planting in the soil, we recommend maintaining a spacing of about forty centimeters so that it has enough space to grow. It is an exceptionally resilient and undemanding plant that even complete beginners can handle without problems. It can even withstand severe frosts dropping down to minus twenty-eight degrees and does not suffer from common diseases; it is only occasionally necessary to watch out for the mint leaf beetle.
During the summer, from July to September, the flower bed turns into a feast for pollinators. The mint blooms with tiny purple flowers that act as a magnet for bees and bumblebees. The entire plant contains strong essential oils, giving it an unmistakable and strong mint aroma. The leaves and flowers are fully edible, so you can use them in the preparation of refreshing drinks, teas, or as a garnish for summer desserts. However, Spanish mint also has a firm place in floristry. Its straight stems are very popular filler greenery for fresh bouquets, to which they add not only an interesting structure but above all a wonderful fragrance. In addition, you can easily dry the flowers and leaves for later use in herbal blends or small fragrant decorations.

The 'Albiflorus' Creeping Thyme is a beautiful, low-growing perennial that will scent your garden and create a dense green carpet. You will receive a well-rooted seedling in a pot from us, which you simply transplant straight into a bed, where it very quickly forms a massive clump. This robust plant does not require special care, doesn't suffer from pests, and withstands deep frosts without any problems. Due to its vigorous growth, it is best planted as a solitary specimen; otherwise, it might suppress more delicate neighboring plants. If you only have a balcony available, plant it in a spacious container with a volume of at least fifteen liters. During the summer, lovage blooms abundantly with tiny yellow flowers that are a great attraction for bees and bumblebees. Its tasty, fragrant green leaves will enliven many dishes, while the sturdy stems with flowers perfectly complement rustic vases, where they last for about a week, and after drying, they will scent any floral arrangement.
