Avens Totally Tangerine
Avens Totally Tangerine will brighten any garden with its cup-shaped flowers in warm shades that resemble the color of ripe tangerines. The original botanical species of this cute avens originate from the mountainous regions of Chile, which is why it thrives best even in our conditions in well-drained, humus-rich, and loamy soil. It handles frosts down to minus twenty-eight degrees without problems, and even complete beginners can easily handle caring for it, as it does not suffer from diseases or pests. You will get an already grown seedling in a pot from us, which you simply transplant straight into the flowerbed in sun or partial shade. It is ideal to plant the plants about half a meter apart. Here it will soon form a dense clump of green leaves, from which sturdy stems up to ninety centimeters tall emerge, and they do not need any support.
Although it is a short-lived perennial, it will make up for everything with its incredible persistence in blooming. Unlike other avens, the Totally Tangerine variety starts its blooming season a little later, but in return, it will delight you without a break from May to September. The semi-double flowers also gradually transition into a deep salmon to dark peach color and are a literal magnet for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. In a flowerbed, it functions excellently as a filler plant, nicely connecting other perennials with its neutral structure.
You will also enjoy the blooming avens at home. It is excellently suited for cutting into summer bouquets. We recommend cutting the stems when a quarter to half of the flowers on the branch are already open. They will then last about a week in a vase and gently liven up any arrangement. Although it is not suitable for drying, it will do a lot of work in the flowerbed even through winter, when its foliage and remains of stems create an interesting winter effect under frost or snow.

PĚSTOVÁNÍ
Orlíček doporučujeme pěstovat jako dvouletku, tzn. první rok v červnu/červenci/srpnu vysejete a na podzim zasadíte, další rok na jaře vám orlíček pokvete a sklidíte krásně dlouhé stonky. Jinak je orlíček samozřejmě trvalka, na stejném stanovišti vám bude kvést každý rok a zároveň se bude vysemeňovat. Jen je potřeba počítat s tím, že rostlina další roky nebude mít takovou energii jako rok první.
Pokud se tedy chystáte orlíček pěstovat primárně k řezu, pěstujte ho jako dvouletku a každý rok vysívejte znovu.
VÝSEV
Semena orlíčku mají obecně nižší klíčivost, proto doporučujeme do jedné buňky sadbovače vysít 1 - 2 semena. Sejte na povrch substrátu a zasypejte vrstvou vermikulitu. Nepropadejte panice, orlíčku trvá dlouho než vyklíčí! Může to být klidně 14 - 21 dní, než uvidíte první lístky.
Jakmile zaplní buňku sadbovače (4 - 8 týdnů), přesadíme si orlíček do květináčků (např. 7×7×8 cm, nebo 9×9×10 cm), necháme zakořenit a až poté přesadíme n a finální stanoviště.
STANOVIŠTĚ
Přesaďte ven ke konci léta, tak bude mít rostlina čas vytvořit si kořenový systém, než přijdou první mrazy. Přikrývat na zimu není nutné, orlíček je plně mrazuvzdorný.
Orlíček potřebuje nižší teploty ke kvetení, proto ho doporučujeme sázet do polostínu. Pokud ale zahradničíte v místech s chladnými jarními teplotami a udržíte rostliny zalévané, snesou i plné sluníčko.

Saponaria vaccaria, or cow soapwort 'Pink Beauty', is a reliable annual that brings a romantic and airy element to summer flower beds. It easily makes up for its unconventional name with a rich profusion of tiny, pastel-pink flowers that bring a sense of lightness to the garden. These appear on sturdy stems sixty to ninety centimeters tall during the summer months, from June to September. The delicate flowers not only look beautiful and soften the surrounding plantings, but they also act as a magnet for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, which will naturally enliven your garden. For healthy growth, cow soapwort appreciates a bright location, but it can grow in light shade without any problems.
It looks very elegant in the garden, and thanks to its structure—reminiscent of baby's breath—it combines perfectly with more robust types of flowers, for which it makes a delicate background. You can confidently cut three to four richly branched stems from each plant. They will bring great joy even if you simply place them in small vases in your living room. Seeds from spring or autumn sowings germinate very readily within five to ten days. It is best to sow them directly in a sunny or semi-shaded location. The flowers appear in the summer months from June to August and become a huge attraction for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. Delphinium consolida, known better as Larkspur, is a typical annual for both country and modern gardens. Cosmos 'Rosetta' is one of our favorite annuals. Its shape resembles a large daisy, but its flowers shine in shades of dark and light pink that look like they were painted with delicate brushstrokes. It originates naturally from the sunny regions of America, and here, it thrives best in a bright location. As it is a low-maintenance plant, growing it from seeds is easy even for beginners. You can sow the seeds indoors on a windowsill starting in April, or directly into a spot in the flower bed from May to July. Germination takes only a few days. It grows to a height of about one meter, forms beautifully sturdy stems, and blooms from June until October, constantly attracting bees and butterflies. In the garden, it is an excellent addition to mixed borders. If you enjoy creating bouquets, 'Rosetta' will thrill you as a cut flower. From a single plant, you will gradually get at least twelve strong stems for the vase.

Delphinium consolida
Larkspur QIS Rose
Larkspurs are spring beauties that are unmatched. But if you want to harvest them for cut flowers, you must be vigilant and harvest quickly before all buds open. Especially in the warm springs of recent years, they bloom quickly, so we sow several batches 14 days apart just to keep up with the harvest. Larkspur QIS Rose is an unusual shade of darker warm pink, fitting beautifully in combination with orange. From one plant you will harvest one thicker stem and 4-5 smaller side ones.
