Stock Katz Apricot
Summer stock is a fantastic cut flower! It loves cool temperatures, and we can still grow three batches a year – two in spring and one in autumn. You'll harvest only one flower per plant, but it will be a truly large, fully double bloom. Stock has a wonderfully intoxicating scent and lasts a long time in a vase. The flowers are edible.
Katz series is not as susceptible to temperature changes and is generally easier for beginner gardeners to grow. However, this comes at the cost of thinner stems and a smaller proportion of double-flowered specimens.
Katz Apricot is the most beautiful shade of skin-tone apricot.
All stocks have some plants with double flowers and some with single. The proportion varies with each series. Katz has 55-60% double-flowered plants. Therefore, we recommend growing a bit more. But here on our farm, we also use the single ones; they are super unique.

Cultivation
VÝSEV
U hledíků si vždy doporučujeme předpěstovat sazeničky, přímý výsev nebude fungovat.
Semena hledíku jsou titěrná, připravte se tedy na mravenčí práci. Sejte na povrch substrátu a nezakrývejte, jelikož hledík potřebuje světlo ke klíčení. Zdůrazňujeme tedy semínka ničím nezakrývat, ani vrstvou vermikulitu.
Udržujte sadbovač v teplotě 16 - 20 °C.
Semena hledíku jsou drobounká, proto do té doby, než nevyrostou v pořádné sazeničky, je nutné zalévat pouze spodem, kdy vložíte sadbovač do misky s vodou a necháte vodu vzlínat. Můžete zalívat i vrchem, jen používejte to nejjemnější rosení (mlžení), jinak spláchnete vysetá semínka.
Za ideálních podmínek hledík vyklíčí za 4 - 7 dní a v sadbovači, než naroste v pořádnou sazeničku, stráví 4 - 5 týdnů. Hledíky mohou jít ze sadbovače rovnou do záhonu, není potřeba je už přesazovat do většího sadbovače, nebo do květináčků. Doporučujeme jen sazeničky otužit, aby si zvykly na venkovní podmínky a trochu zesílily.
SÁZENÍ
Sazeničky hledíků vydrží lehké mrazíky (- 6 °C), nebojte se je tedy sázet i před posledními mrazy, zvládnou to. Sázíme ve sponu 15 × 15 cm.
Hledíky nezaštipujeme. Jedna sazenička vám vytvoří jeden pořádný stonek a několik postranních stonků, budou se tedy přirozeně větvit.
Lze hledíky pěstovat i v intenzivnějším sponu (40 - 65 rostlin na m2, nebo dokonce 65 - 105 rostlin na m2), tam ale riskujeme, že se nám u nich objeví houbové choroby. Je tedy lepší jim dát více prostoru.
PĚSTOVÁNÍ
Hledíkům se daří v humózní půdě, před sázením můžete do záhonů zapravit vyzrálý kompost. Vyberte pro ně slunné stanoviště.
Ideální je hledíky zalévat u kořenů tak, aby listy zůstaly suché. Předejdeme tak různým houbovým chorobám, které hledíky mohou potrápit. U hledíku držte pravidelnou zálivku a nezapomeňte pravidelně přihnojovat. Jakmile začnou hledíky kvést můžete na zálivce ubrat.
OPORA
Pokud jste profesionál a pěstujete hledíky k řezu, doporučujeme oporu, resp. síť, kterou budou hledíky prorůstat. Bez opory se totiž jinak může stát, že stonky budou zahnuté a jinak pokroucené. Pro krásně rovné stonky je síť nutností.
SKUPINY HLEDÍKŮ
Hledíky se dělí do 4 skupin, skupina 1 jsou ty nejranější a skupina 4 pozdní. Skupinu 1 tedy můžete sít a vysazovat jako první, jelikož vám pokvete i při nižší teplotě a kratších dnech. Zatímco skupinu 4 raději nechete až na konec léta.

Potomac is a fairly classic series of snapdragons, with long and robust stems. It blooms later than a similar series of snapdragons, Maryland, making it suitable for higher temperatures. Potomac Lavender is a warm purple with light pink centers. One plant produces one stem.

Pure splendor! We don't have prettier photos for this year because every year we cut all the carrots down to the last stem, and there's simply nothing left for photos. Thin, firm stems topped with umbellate inflorescences resembling dill. Each stem has thousands of tiny florets creating a veil or lace effect. This is a mix of colors, with some flowers being pure white, and most others chocolate to burgundy with a hint of white.

Larkspurs are spring beauties that are unparalleled. But if you want to harvest them for cut flowers, you must be vigilant and harvest quickly before all the buds open. Especially in the warm springs of recent years, they fade quickly, so we sow several batches 14 days apart to even manage the harvest. Delphinium QIS White is a delicate white, beautiful for wedding floristry. From one plant, you'll harvest one thicker main stem and 4-5 smaller side shoots.
