A color mix of all our Dahlias. Every year, a part of the field gets mixed up, confused, or a label gets lost. At that point, the tubers go into the color mix.

Feather grass flowers capture attention in beds and bouquets with their lightness and delicacy. All feather grasses love full sun and dry, stony, well-drained soil. To look most natural in beds, it is good to plant them in loose groups of several pieces together with other drought-loving perennials and bulbs. Only then do their stems and inflorescences, set in motion by the slightest breath of wind, truly stand out. Stipa 'Ponny Tails' is a species native to the steppes of Mexico, Texas, and Patagonia. Airy, dense clumps of hair-like delicate leaves resemble horsehair. The leaves are green, turning up to straw-colored towards the flowers. In a suitable location, it also self-seeds.

Eucalyptus 'Silver Dollar' has round, silvery grey-green young leaves. With us, it is most often used as a portable potted plant that benefits from spending the summer on sunny terraces and balconies. Before the first frosts, it is moved to a frost-free, bright space.

Round-headed leek belongs to the summer alliums; the leaves resemble chives and turn yellow and wither during flowering. The egg-shaped inflorescences are 3 to 5 centimeters large and densely packed. The flower color is distinct, dark purple-wine. It blooms in summer and fits well in steppe plantings with fine grasses. It is perfect for cutting and can also be dried.

Strawflower is a classic from grandma's garden as well as a staple for dried flowers. We love using them for wedding arrangements because they don't wilt. They are suitable for corsages, wreaths, and boutonnieres. Shades of cream and white.

A beautiful Allium originally from the Balkans for a dry spot and full sun. It is striking for the exceptionally dark color of its hemispherical inflorescences with individual star-shaped flowers.

Garden cultivars of goldenrod are attractive and low-maintenance perennials bred from native North American wild species. Unlike them, however, they are not invasive and do not spread uncontrollably in flower beds. They are specially bred for cutting, which is why they are relatively tall, grow upright, and bloom profusely. For bouquets, we can harvest both freshly bloomed plants and stems with buds. They last 10 days in a vase. In flower beds, they are an essential food source for bees. Moonlight Glory is our lightest milky-white goldenrod. Its elegant shade combines well with other perennials.

Cupid's dart is a medium-tall short-lived perennial. It originates from the Mediterranean and is therefore suitable for areas with milder winters. Attractive with blue flowers that resemble chicory. The unopened flower buds and silvery spent inflorescences are also nice. It is also suitable for drying. Fresh, it lasts 7 days in a vase.

A valuable garden and medicinal perennial, native to North America. The spiky flower centers are an irresistible attraction for butterflies. They last 7–10 days in a vase. After removing the petals, the stems with the central disks can be dried or used in fresh bouquets as an interesting element. White Swan blooms with milky white flowers and brownish-orange centers. The petals are not spread entirely horizontally; they bend slightly downwards.

The Obedient plant is native to the eastern regions of North America, where it grows on riverbanks and in wet meadows. It forms upright, bushy clumps that spread to the surrounding area via root runners. The flowers are shaped like slender spikes with four rows of tubular blooms and resemble Snapdragon flowers. Harvest as soon as the first flowers in the inflorescence open; they will continue to bloom in the vase. In bouquets, they are a suitable companion for Dahlias, and they last 10–14 days in a vase. The faded spikes with seeds are interesting and can also be used for drying. The Obedient plant Miss Manners is compact, upright, and does not spread as aggressively to the surrounding area.

Purple Love Grass comes from North America. The leaves of this clump-forming grass have a warm orange-red tinge. But the real magic lies in the clouds of fragrant purple-pink flower panicles. It stands out in group plantings, which it can soften and connect. We use it in bouquets for the same effect.

The bluebell is a beautiful bulbous plant originally from southwestern Europe, where it grows in light deciduous forests. Multiple leaves grow from the bulb, but only one flower stem. On the right site, the plant multiplies well by itself via daughter bulbs and seeds, creating carpets. It blooms from May to June. The leaves die back soon after flowering. For the longest endurance in a vase, it is good to harvest them just before the florets open. Then they last up to 14 days in a vase. 'Rosea' blooms with light pink florets.

Helenium originates from North America, where it occurs on damp meadows. It grows upright and in clumps. The inflorescences form small "suns" with a diameter of 5 cm. Hence their scientific name Helenium. A great perennial for cutting with a long durability of up to 14 days. Helena Red Shades blooms in shades from red to copper.

This species of iris probably originates from the Mediterranean. A long-favored ornamental garden plant, bred into many cultivars. Allegedly grown by the Celts, it was popular in the Middle Ages and became a heraldic plant. It lasts 3–7 days in a vase. Black Knight has a purple-black flower.
